10/23/2016 Topic: Is it just me or is anyone else pissed at Marvel?? expander	wish it was not true.... I didn't read a comic for weeks after. My faith in the medium was truly shaken. (but only for a week, my lcs owner just laughed so hard when I told him.) ......Currently however I'm just trying to keep up with civil war II. As would be expected it branches out over many titles and I still somehow lost track of just WTF was going on so looks like I'm waiting for trades on this stuff too.

Almost any issue can be submitted to a third party grading service (there are a few exceptions such as treasury size books.) You can mail them to a "3pgs" (third party grading service) or have a local comic shop (LCS) send them on your behalf, or attend a convention where a 3pgs is offering their services. And of course as you said there are fees involved. The key is to determine if it's worth it issue by issue. Some (very common) modern issues don't have much of a price difference between raw and graded until the conditions exceed 9.4. It would be good to determine which issues that you have are "key" issues if any or "hot" issues that are highly sought out. then from those determine if their condition warrants a "3pgs." As far as where to sell you have many options there as well depending on what /how much you want to get for them. Taking them to a comic shop can be quick and easy but you won't get the most out of their value simply because the shop will need to be able to make a profit from the reselling of said books. Ebay or any other online auction house can be time consuming and a bit of a daunting task (taking pics/scans of the books creating listings keeping up with shipping and relisting non-selling books) They can also be sold on here as well, This is a GREAT place to sell books to collectors but depending on how rare /common the books you have are you may be seeing them sit for a while. Also the lower value books tend to sell better in lots.( I usually throw in a semi good book in for good measure to help get bids) Let me know if you need any further help, I'd be happy to walk you through if you have any questions. edited by expander on 10/25/2016

I miss the idea of a variant being a price difference or newstand/direct (which some folks still don't consider a variant. I did go into length on the subject in the old threads because in order to make the cover have a picture in the upc box the printing plates still needed to be changed so it is by my opinion a variation of the original but I digress.....) I also like full complete runs and have 50+ variants of one issue is simply ludicrous to me.

10/26/2016 Topic: the walking dead s7 premier expander	I haven't watched it yet but I've been waiting for negan to come along since I first read issue 100 of the comic. I've long ago given up on there being much correlation between the comic and the show and like most fans of both just enjoy the two separately. I won a bet with my wife that said Rick would hook up with Michonne as soon as I saw Andrea die on the show I was like that's it he's gotta get with the sword lady.

10/29/2016 Topic: 2nd acct needed?? expander	I used to wonder the same thing i just use the boxes function to keep my for sale books in check. I agree that I don't like how if i have four copies of one book, one for me the other three for sale, they do all show up under my collection. There is an icon next to them if they are boxed and it shows up when viewing "my collection" and the values are all counted together as a whole. edited by expander on 10/29/2016

10/30/2016 Topic: the walking dead s7 premier expander	Now having watched the premier I think Negan is totally do-able on tv but he's just not as r-rated at the lips. He still made me laugh though. Not sure how caught up you are on the comics now but I almost think of him as rick's unwanted step child / sidekick. Gotta love/hate him. I really can't wait to see what happens with Alpha either. Just holy crap. I hope they do something cool with that whole premise on the show because I was totally waiting for rick to just go after her in the books. We'll see.

I'm torn on my war comics i want to sell them but i like the stories and the cover art is just awesome. I also regret selling most of my western/gold key stuff for the same reason. As you and well almost anyone that reads any of my posts know I'm pretty much into ghosts and robocop/terminator stuff now. Still, I like this thread! keep them coming!

I'll be finishing up at about 4:00-4:30 am. Not sure if I'll be awake enough to post here afterwards. Still been busy on then off again I've been delving into metal gear solid 5 lately. Also trying to get back into buying comics at flea markets and auctions so I may be getting some back issues coming in more often. Maybe enough to start a thread? IDK.
