This used to be a popular thread on the old forums. (i also recall the "no topic topic" thread was pretty cool too)
so the point of this thread was to share what you were doing while up at 3:45 A.M. I'm listening to youtube and obviously posting on the forums. also having a peanut butter, banana, and marshmallow cream sandwich (so good.)

I wasn't up at 3:45am, but that sandwich sounds gnarly.

The original thread, nobody sleeps, was fun as you said. What helped it was people across the world were posting more and we had a bunch of second and third shift workers posting also. Another was the No Topic thread, random thoughts from all. Right now watching Monday Night Football and looking thru a short box of comics I had put away years ago and didn't label the box besides misc DC books. Found that I have five copies of Mad Love besides three copies of Batman: Harley Quinn. I knew I had a copy of each but forgot I had multiples of them. Pretty happy about this.

Tonight I read the Valiant Faith 4 part mini series, read the 26th TPB for TWD.
Then I made my infamous Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake. Maybe I'll play a little PS1 later.....I'm thinking Raystorm.

I just finished Castlevania Symphony Of The Night. Great game. I don't think I have the heart to open the cellophane on my copy of Castlvania Chronicles though. Headed off to Sheetz for a Big Motz and some fried mac and cheese bites. Then maybe a little bit of Pro Pinball:Fantastic Journey. (really been hitting the PS1 trip hard lately, IDK why)

Little of both. I'm in between jobs right now so I'm going a little stir crazy around the house. Catching up on a lot of comic reading though.
I'm also in the process of starting up a sales page on bonanza. Just trying to get a hold of a reliable camera to take those oh so important pics!
I'd use my scanner but that took a dump on me earlier this summer.

Still do from time to time, But this forum is no-where near as active as it used to be. Things will pick up (need to be positive)

I'm just happy to see anybody posting these days much less seeing some of our regulars from the old forums around.
Haha, even back then the heavy hitters were pining for the days of old.....

It was a part of my morning routine back when I delivered newspapers. The pressroom would finish their daily run about 11:30 am so I'd be on the boards going I can fit a few more threads in before I go it's only 10am.
I just wonder what some of those guys are up to these days.
I spent a few years basically neglecting the hobby as a whole and when I picked it back up, it feels almost overwhelming.
Same trends and gimmicks only more abundant and twice as pricey.
Still love the same characters and still excited over new stories for said characters (and sometimes crossovers) but still just as off-put by the lust for money side of it all. (now I know it takes money to live and survive but single issues for $6 or $7? that's ludicrous) and i won't even go into the variant nonsense......

This could be the last post here for a while (in this thread) as I am starting the overnight shift at work. I'll be finishing up at about 4:00-4:30 am. Not sure if I'll be awake enough to post here afterwards.
Still been busy on then off again I've been delving into metal gear solid 5 lately.
Also trying to get back into buying comics at flea markets and auctions so I may be getting some back issues coming in more often. Maybe enough to start a thread? IDK.

Then I'll see if i have the gumption to put more listing on my bonanza booth. (Big maybe there)

Well it's been to long since I've been here to the boards and I'm to try to keep up with it a little more. I can't wait to get into my pull box at my lcs! I've finally got a little "dough-to-blow" so i can catch up on faith and The gambit/deadpool books as well as Aliens: Defiance he's been holding for me. I've been reading a lot of my 80's/90's one off books from my small publishers box. I have a few issues of southern knights that's caught my fancy looks like a hard run to complete though. there are trades out there for the series but I'm not sure if they include all the issues.
After this can of sour cream and onion Pringles is gone I'm gonna finish my loca moca and hit the treadmill for a while. Gotta keep my gamer's physique, lol.

Well, it's been a while so I figured I'd post a little something here.
Since I just got home from work.... picked up the old telecaster and found it in need of some tlc so I restrung it and gave it a good polishing. I love the sound of new strings!
read #1-11 of Aliens: Defiance, gotta pick up #12 on payday to see how it ends. so far the ongoing Faith series is good from valiant trying to play catch-up on my x-o stuff as well. and way behind on the "new,(2014/15)" spidey 2099 stuff. also digging into the old image long boxes lotsa neat stuff in there too....
well off to my juicer for a fruit smoothie....... laters

I have recently been reading some trades in both softcover and hardcover. This is probably due to most of my comics being scattered in different long boxes and short boxes around the house. I am now respecting Peter bagge. For a long time I was buying some of his comics, here and there, mainly for the artwork which reminded me of some artwork from the 60's Underground comics and from the Rat Fink comics. I figured all his talent was in his artwork. This guy is a great writer. I can't believe I was disrespecting him for so long just because of his artwork. This guy ranks up there with all the talented writers of this era and any era. So now whenever I see a Peter Bagge compilation or individual comic I get it and read it immediately. I am never disappointed.
