Walking Dead #100b

If it comes back a 9.8 it would be financially worth it to grade that book. If you want to read it, not so much.
Ultimately it's an individual choice that you make depending on what you want to do with the book. R |

You know that you can buy comics here right? For sellers, there are no extra fees (simply the membership fee) So much better than fee-Bay.

House of X and Powers of X influenced books

Hickman is writing a fantastic series and it's having a ripple effect.
Excaliber #31 - Has gone up in value because of the first pages of House of X #1 and the "pod people" Uncanny X-men 191 - Has gone up in value because it's the first appearance of Nimrod. An important "person" in the series.
Let us know if you see any other changes based on this storyline. ron |

I put in a request to get Flash Giant #7, Swamp Thing Giant #7, and Titans Giant #7 about two weeks ago. No word from CPG as of this post.
If a book is a new title you can tell us in the forums.
If a book is a continued title please use the system submission form for a missing issue. I checked all of those in the missing issues and nothing was submitted to us. We do this because multiple admins never visit the forum and things don't get buried in the forum. R |

Batman, Flash, Swamp Thing, and Wonder Woman start over with #1 and the indicia indicates that they are Mass Market Editions.
The indicia title is Batman Mass Market Edition? Flash Mass Market Edition? Swamp Thing Mass Market Edition? Wonder Woman Mass Market Edition?
Seems like a title that will cause issues with people finding it. If that's what the indicia says, that's what we will use. Can you confirm? Ron |

If you sent an email to us last week, we are answering it this week. I was on vacation in the panhandle of Florida and didn't open my computer. I apologize for the inconvenience and I'll do my best to get back to you today. The same applies to the forum posts from last week.

Batman Detective Comics Annual 2
RonbatmanAdministrator

This is a strange one because there are two annual #1 and two #2 within the same series. The thing that makes the most sense to me is to keep it in order but change the numbering. So the annual from 2018 is the 13th annual in the list but is labeled like the book. The same for 2019. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/detective-comics/1%202018_annual/pkswops |

Organizing by Countries
RonbatmanAdministrator
|
When you're in the middle of organizing so many comics sometimes you add books to titles to eliminate the big backlog. Then you go back and think about it and realize that book should go someplace else. We've done exactly that with the Pence versions of several Marvel and DC books. We put the Pence versions in the US title when it should have its own title with a different country.
So we've begun the process of moving British or Pence books into their own titles.
Here is the US version of Dr. Strange (vol. 2) https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/doctor-strange/slwq
Here is the British version of Dr. Strange (vol. 2) https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/doctor-strange/pksuls
With both of those titles there is a link back to the other version to make it easier for navigation. In the main search bar there is an area for the country, use that if you're looking for Marvel UK or the Pence version of a regular Marvel or DC title.
Back to organizing... R |

What Sets Prices Here?
RonbatmanAdministrator

We set prices based on the market. Overstreet is outdated by the time it's published so we certainly don't use that! The market changes quickly based on speculation. This is definitely the way the market operates now.
The offer page encourages the true value of a book, which is what we like to see. I've seen you get some great deals here on the site, don't let one or two that got away get you down. Ron |

When an announcement is released about a new show or movie prices go up. It's not when a show is released, it's when it's announced. As I've said several times, we don't dictate the market, we only report on it. |
