have you asked Boom studios if they ever published it? And it has 'kaboom' on the cover, so I tried searches with that and still came up blank for the #2c cover other than previews and solicitations/announcements sites.

FINALLY found it. It's under the FCBD tab under the original 1963-2012 series, but does not come up on any searches with 'Spider-Man FCBD' or 'Free Comic Book Day' for some reason, so Ronbatman, please fix it so ALL the FCBD issues show up on searches using FCBD AND Free Comic Book Day, it would save lots of time and posts. Using one term gets about 119, the other term gets 328 results.
and CPG has this one listed as 'AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, THE #2011' which is just wrong smile. It does come up in a search if you use that 'issue' number, but who's going to know that?

The other books someone else will have to chime in on. Don't see any TPBs for Bizarre Heroes tho.

I too have asked and asked and asked for 3 years or more, and never get a reply. same with multiple other problems the site has had for years. one admin told me once that they thought people would like to be able to refer to their old sent messages sometimes, but really, no one needs to keep them for more than a year. Give US the choice of how long to keep them. real waste of hard drive/cloud/webspace. Brian has never answered about this. And since 99% of the time in my experience no one replies to the PMs, especially when you're trying to contact a supposed buyer, then why keep the messages forever?

They added a delete button finally, but it doesn't work for sent messages as you probably know.

Huh, that pic of the 1 with the UPC cover wasn't showing when I first saw that post. It'd be nice if rixmaxx could tell you where he found that, as I haven't. But that would make me lean to that comic actually being published, but even if only 10-20 were sent out due to low orders, SOMEONE woulda had one somewhere to sell or talk about etc by now, and the big dealers would've had 1-2 and would still list them, but as out of stock, as mycomicshop does on a ton of these incentive comics.

and I emailed BOOM on Tues the 12th and Fri the 15th, and no reply. But that's typical any more. can't find any company, big or small, that answers email within a day or two, or ever half the time. BOOM's site still has the last copyright date as 2017, so they're not even keeping up with that like they should to protect their brand. BOOM is on twitter and facebook, maybe you can get an answer there. I don't do that unsocial media stuff. I just now sent an email to the customer service addy to see if anyone will answer that. Had been using the 'contact@' address cuz I'm not a customer. If I get a reply I'll post here.

this appears to be one of the million digital-only comics that CPG doesn't list. Do you own an actual paper version of it? I only see digital versions on multiple sites including the publisher's, and trade paperback collections, but stopped pawing thru google results. CPG could list the TPBs I suppose. pics here:

will try posting these here, as I get no response via email to the head cheese.

1) the title of our classifieds ads get screwed up with ampersands if we edit them after the initial post. didn't use to do this. nothing fixes that except deleting and reposting, so annoying. example (not my ad):

2) on the https://comicspriceguide.com/faqs page, the one about 'What if I find a comic/issue that is missing?' has a link that says it goes to a FORM to do that, but like the spoon in the Matrix, there is no form, only more instructions to report missing issues to a forUM, which is maybe what someone meant to type for that link.

3) been asking this one ever since the new forums were done-- are you ever going to add the 'member name/manage account' code that's in the upper right on the main site pages to the forum pages so we can log out ON the forums? I have to go to some other main page, wait for it to load if it doesn't hang up, and log out there. makes no sense why the login/out code isn't on every page on the forums. Or add a logout choice to our IDs where it has them at the top of the forum messages, with a drop down or pop window here:

cuz it's redundant to have both our name and My Profile links both go to our profile page, isn't it? normally most forums would have our member name linked to a logout choice there. but better to make things consistent and add the 'member name/manage account' code in the upper right to the forum pages too, where people are used to using it.

4) when I go to my View Profile page by clicking my name on a post, and click 'edit' I still get a blank page. https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/editprofile.aspx . would be nice to actually be able to edit our forum profiles like every other site lets you do.

and I see Ronbatman is taking up the charge to let us delete our years old sent messages, so hope that finally gets done too.

thanks. But on the ads issue, I'm not copying/pasting anything, I'm just editing text in the body on your site. Not even touching the title. The body stuff stays fine after editing, but the title gets the ampersands added after you edit. Deleting the title and re-typing it does no good either, nor does writing it in the body and copying/pasting out of there. Only way is to delete the ad and start new. I do copy/paste from my copies in my email drafts when I renew them, but that works fine the first time, but not when I edit on your site after that.

Have fun squashing that bug..

I somehow had the impression that the forums and website were mostly 1 platform, so that it would be easy to add that piece of code for login/out. so guess not. but, is there a reason SOME kind of logout link can't be added to the forums that wouldn't require a ton of work? There's a login link, so why no logout?

I've been a member here for well in to double digit years, so know Bryan is the guy who does all the code work and it never stops. But I have sent emails about these probs to him for quite a while for most, and nothing got fixed. I try to wait months between nags, so I think I've been patient. Like a couple years patient.

So we'll wait to see if/when issue #4 is fixed. Will you post here if/when it is? Thanks again.

The problem is with the apostrophe. CPG has it incorrectly spelled Childrens instead of Children's. Always try searches for stuff like that with and without the apostrophe and with and without the S at the end like Solarno did, as these spelling mistakes happen. So calling Ronbatman or Gilgandra to the rescue...

Always try 'All Countries' before you give up, it often finds stuff you think is US made when it's not. Even the insides may be misleading sometimes too. Also search by publisher, although naturally you'd go to their S titles and not see these because they're under Arcana Studio Presents in the A's.

Maybe this will help--in the top forum, Signed and Remarked Comics, it says, "1) Dynamic Forces VARIANT COVERS (signed or unsigned), along with all other variant covers, will be included in the regular database." Emphasis on VARIANT signed covers, not regular covers that were signed and done by DF. So then you have to check to see if you have variant covers, then use the 'Report a missing variant' button and hopefully have a pic to upload too.

Note to anyone who can edit that post--it should be more specific and also flat out state that 'normal/regular signed comics with COAs will not be listed here in the guide, due to.. ", then however you want to word it that there's no good steady market info for signed comics and they vary widely and there's a bajillion of them to list.

That might cut down on the 'where's this signed comic' questions, but they gotta read that post too.

after you've determined your grades, go do some research on SOLD CGC Sandman prices on 'that' auction site and other venues to get an idea of what they're going for in 9.4., 9.6., 9.8. Like Ron said, modern 9.4's often aren't worth grading, although #1s and 1st Appearances might be if in demand and valuable enough raw. Moderns under $200 graded value will cost you $20 plus shipping to and from the grading companies, so plan on adding a few dollars per book for that too. If the value is over $200 and under $400 you're going to have to pay $38 (for CGC anyway).
Looks like Sandman 1 in 9.8 is generally selling a little under $400, so you'd only have to pay $20 for grading. Looks like #1, #4, #8 are worth grading in 9.4 too. I saw some 9.8s of some of the others below 10 only getting $19.99, and up to $30, so not worth it, but there may have been extenuating circumstances with those, I didn't go read the listings.

Just because I feel charitable, here's a search string to use on that auction site that will get you most of the CGC 1-10s in 9.4, 9,6 ,9.8 that are unsigned in 1 search, plus a few unrelated keyword spamming issues:
(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) (9.4,9.6.,9.8) sandman cgc -(ss,signature,signed,pgx,kirby,22)

Send that commission check to....

It's faster if you submit it yourself. go to this page, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/five-ghosts/10/pjqyltq , click on the Variants tab, click on the big red Report Missing Variant button, and fill in the info boxes and upload the pic from your computer/phone, and they'll get to it when they get to it.

if you're going to continue to post all these old comics, at least post links to where CPG can get the info, like comics.org.

Hillman comics titles at https://www.comics.org/publisher/91/ , so maybe CPG can find others of those they're missing too.

Please go to comics.org and find the other titles and then edit those posts with links to the titles there. it'd be even better if you combined them into 1 post, then just add to it if you find more. I don't know why all those aren't listed by now either. and all caps is considered 'shouting'. thanks.
