In 2011 Boom! Studios was printing Ducktales, with multiple covers.

Issue 2 has three. I need the third, or C cover.

I've nicknamed it the Indian Jones covers, since it looks like the Indiana Jones poster, with him framed in a temple doorway.

But this, obviously, is Scrooge with Launchpad and the three grand-nephews, framed in a temple doorway.

Actually, I'm not certain that this comic exists.

I have NEVER seen it offered, ANYWHERE.

It might have been in the Previews, and everyone put it into the
various databases, and then got yanked at the last minute.
So it might not have been published.

Anyone with any insight into this issue, please set forward.
Any clarity would be appreciated.

It was an incentive cover

have you asked Boom studios if they ever published it? And it has 'kaboom' on the cover, so I tried searches with that and still came up blank for the #2c cover other than previews and solicitations/announcements sites.
boom email is contact at boom-studios.com

see this old ebay listing on worthpoint if you haven't, he also says it may not exist, and he had the whole run: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/ducktales-comics-boom-run-17-sdcc-1736616610

when *bay, mycomicshop and mile high don't list it even as out of stock, it's really rare or doesn't exist, so BOOM! can tell you for sure, right?

Actually, I tried emailing Boom about that, oh, probably a year ago - but got no response.
I guess turn-over being what it is, they didn't have anyone still on staff who would know
or they blew me off.

Anyway, the worthpoint link was helpful, but I do have news for whom ever posted that Ducktales Run. The second SDCC Ducktales cover, the blank sketch cover, does in fact exist. I have one!

So that's not an issue for me. The issue is the 2c cover. Thanks for your input.

I'm wondering something.

Since that second cover of the C book had a UPC code on it, that it represents an actual comic and not just a publishers preview?

If that's the case, then that would mean it does in fact exist.

Huh, that pic of the 1 with the UPC cover wasn't showing when I first saw that post. It'd be nice if rixmaxx could tell you where he found that, as I haven't. But that would make me lean to that comic actually being published, but even if only 10-20 were sent out due to low orders, SOMEONE woulda had one somewhere to sell or talk about etc by now, and the big dealers would've had 1-2 and would still list them, but as out of stock, as mycomicshop does on a ton of these incentive comics.

and I emailed BOOM on Tues the 12th and Fri the 15th, and no reply. But that's typical any more. can't find any company, big or small, that answers email within a day or two, or ever half the time. BOOM's site still has the last copyright date as 2017, so they're not even keeping up with that like they should to protect their brand. BOOM is on twitter and facebook, maybe you can get an answer there. I don't do that unsocial media stuff. I just now sent an email to the customer service addy to see if anyone will answer that. Had been using the 'contact@' address cuz I'm not a customer. If I get a reply I'll post here.
