but there's a number of Aussie reprints by Yaffa and probably others that are listed with US prices, but it's the Aussie cover price, so there's some correcting to do, but I know that's probably low on the totem pole. no real biggie, just want others to be sure about what price to enter or not, so now I can point them to this thread.

ok. your more recent reply on the Tweety/Sylvester thread says the "object reference" problem is fixed (checked the T&S titles, they work now, but haven't pawed thru the other Charltons again to see if they all work, it's a lot of titles), so was that only for those titles? been getting that error for quite a while on many titles, just haven't felt like reporting every one, so should I?

does seem to be missing, although they have other Chakra comics. Your pic is going to a Wolverine comic image on shopify for some reason, so found and attached a pic for them to use.

From what I see, they don't even have this series in the database, so they can get it from comics.org. The others they have from Sweden (by Atlantic Forlags Ab) all seem to have the correct years, so not sure which ones you're talking about, so links to them would help the admins a lot.

this (or some version of it) needs to also be pinned on the top of Database/missing Issue forum, as many people never look at the announcements board, and when this post gets moved down the list there, it won't show on the full forums page. I've bookmarked it to direct people to it when needed, hope more people do that.

Dear new person,
always post a link to the CPG listing, it saves people time. this is the closest to it, for the b&w version: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/superman/5-RI-B/pipsbtv

for future reference, please read the 'Guidelines: Please Read Before Posting!' post at the top of this forum, and provide as much info as you can, it really helps admins get stuff found and listed faster: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=8
BUT, for missing variants for titles/issues CPG has, you can submit them yourself, which is how CPG prefers it be done. This is how:
Get a good square-on scan (not a camera photo), .jpg or .png format preferred, cropped to the edges of the comic. If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, no signatures, no pro-graded ones, and try to make sure they're a published version, not a pre-production pic (like a Previews solicitation often is), as those get changed in production all the time. Best to resize them if you can to about 350-400px wide, but CPG can do that too.
Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this.
Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant.
Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants.
Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.

Your pic is too small, so I found and attached a better one you can copy and use. When CPG DOESN'T have a title, then you post on the forum and provide as much info/links to info as you can. If CPG has the title but is missing an issue completely, you use the 'Report Missing Issue' link at the bottom of the right column on the series listing, under the 'Create new box' button. So now ya know, have fun.

Hi. You can submit it as a missing variant yourself thru the reporting system, which is how CPG prefers it be done. here's how:
Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this.
Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant.
Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants.
Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required if they have most from other variants already). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.
and read this post from admin Ronbatman: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=18278#post42605
I attached the correct image (according to comics.org, bookmark that for future use), so you can copy and use that to submit it.

That's fine information but I'm not a new person and did all of that weeks ago with no response whatsoever and thought I'd try here. But thanks for trying to help. I do appreciate it. This seems to be happening a lot more frequently. I've run into 3 books in the last week where an issue or the entire series has yet to be added. Thinking about seeking out a new place to pay.

well, you're new to posting on the forum, so figured you were new to the site. If you submitted it weeks ago via the Missing Variant feature, you don't get any 'response' from that, it just shows up in the guide when they get to it, and some stuff just gets lost in the shuffle. I just submitted it since it wasn't showing a 'pending' notice yet, so that'll save you the time to do it again.
And to add to Ron's post, the other thing many members don't know or get is that CPG doesn't get copies sent to them of every variant so they can scan them and enter the info, especially store exclusives and retailer incentives, so they have to rely on members to submit them or alert them of missing ones.
The Guidelines post could be updated with this info too, if someone has access to the 'closed' post, and that may alleviate a few of the missing variant posts here. Adding what Ron posted on his latest 'flood of variants' post on the announcement board, https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=18278#post42605 , about "please do not submit variants to my email or the forum. Use our automated system so that some people aren't jumping to the front of the line by submitting on the forum. The exception is if the title or regular issue doesn't exist in our system. We cannot expect you to submit a missing variant if the regular issue isn't there," would help people too, at least the few who bother to read the guidelines post first.

Classic Comics errors

collectibleshop
whilst adding a ton of cover prices for Classic Comics, I found these mistakes:
this one shows the 1st page instead of a cover, and since I can't trust the pics on the net, I stopped looking for the cover, so this pic should just be removed: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classic-comics-robinson-crusoe/10G/pctqnt
this one has a sideways pic and not even the full cover, how did that get by even if done years ago?
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classic-comics-uncle-toms-cabin/15-6th/pctpkx
these titles are all wrongly marked as modern, how did so many get noted that way?:
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-36--typee/1/pctuiv
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-36--typee/pnvsh says 'no cover price', but it has .15 on the cover, so I added it too.
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-39--jane-eyre/pnvso
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-41--twenty-years-after/pnvsm
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-45--tom-browns-school-days/pnvrm
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-46--kidnapped/pnvrb
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-47--twenty-thousand-leagues-under-the-sea/pnvrc
this 20,000 leagues has $15 cover listed, but it's .10: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-47--twenty-thousand-leagues-under-the-sea/1/pcttcp
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-48--david-copperfield/pnvuj
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-49--alice-in-wonderland/pnvuk
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-50--adventures-of-tom-sawyer/pnvuh
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-52--the-house-of-the-seven-gables/pnvun
had to stop at this point because the site gets really slow after 2am most nights, why is that? server backups?
lots more titles to go thru, and you verifiers can add to your points with easy yups for a bunch of prices under Gilberton, so have at it.

so today I got smarter and checked the titles for era only, and got tired of that too. basically all of them are marked modern from #54-up, except 124,127,129, may be others, but I quit looking by the 140's. https://comicspriceguide.com/publishers/gilberton-publications starting with C.
will start on prices again for a while till dinner and do more later tonight, and thanks to those who've yupped the first batch.
update a few hours later: finished doing the prices except for ones that had store price stickers over the real price, so yup away.
and found these errors: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-75--the-lady-of-the-lake/1/pcwrkx says .15 price, but it's .10
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-103--men-against-the-sea/pnxpn broken pic links on 2-5
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-163--master-of-the-world/pnxxm pic links broken on #2&3
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-junior/538/pcvsnp has $25 price, should be .15

the colon is messing things up. It comes up without the colon. it's here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/amazing-spider-man-the-birth-of-tombstone/1/pistnsv
so another one that should have Halloween in the title too, according to the indicia if you have it, right? It's in the sub-title, but those words don't count in searches. Some of the others have colons in the title, some don't. Does the indicia have it? always try searches without the little punctuation stuff, often times that will do the trick.
