My ranking has been at 6 for quite a while, on at least 3 occasions it's increased to 7 and then within a few days drops back to 6. Not sure why it's dropping. Is it something I'm doing or not doing? Am I the only one that has had this happen?

It's relative to what other users are doing. If someone else gains more points than you, they rise and you fall. That means you have almost exactly the same points as someone else and are just switching places.
