Starting slow with the song, Gentle on my mind by Glen Campbell, Luke is thinking about his love, Claire. His inner turmoil is interrupted by the bus driver asking him a question. After some talk about being in the middle of nowhere the driver talks about a new nearby community called Security City. Their conversation is abruptly ended by a barrage of gunfire that kills the driver and leaves the bus unattended. The bus smashes into a tree and men with guns approach the badly damaged bus.

The armed men arrive at the bus expecting everyone on board to be dead and to see what money they can collect for the City. When they start looking around, Luke Cage, Power Man busts through the bus and starts fighting them. Knowing that they cannot defeat the steel skinned Cage they run for backup. Lumberjack Luke cuts down a tree with his bare hands and makes it fall on them. Surprisingly they aren’t crushed after a massive tree falls on them. hmm.

D.W. who is alive and unhurt in the bus comes out and helps Luke handcuff the men to the bus. Then the two friends walk to Security City, which is a gated and protected city in an Arizona desert. The guards at the gate will not let them enter the city so Luke “convinces" them with punches to the gut. When they ask a random lady with a baby stroller for directions to City Hall she pulls out a double barrel shotgun and fires at Luke. Welcome to Security City!

Regular citizens everywhere start opening fire on the duo and they surrender because D.W. doesn’t have unbreakable skin. They are taken to the Mayor of this strange city, who happens to be Gideon Mace. As Gideon goes on an evil villain monologue D.W. connects a microphone to the outside speakers. The citizens of Security City hear all about Mace’s plan to control the people and use them for his purposes and they revolt.

During the upheaval Luke and D.W. make their escape out the back way, leaving the people and police of Security City shooting each other.
