Printing box lists?

I have same concern with 319 comics. There doesnt seem to be a way to export list without the it adding issue's that you need. A list with just the issues that one currently has and their current value would be great.

Variant incorrectly listed as Holochrome. There is no Holochrome variant with a Holographic image. There is only the Dynamic Forces Exclusive "Chrome" Cover as one of a specially limited series of two thousand copies. With the Certificate of authenticity.

here is a link to another misrepresented Holochrome edition yet you can clearly see the C.O.A states "CHROME" COVER. I also noticed there is a difference between between the COA this edition states it limited to 1500 instead of 2000 and its also signed where the mine is not signed. Not sure if that makes it a different variant because of a signature. I wouldnt think so but all the info should be here anyway.

It's faster if you submit it yourself. save the pic to your computer/phone first. then look up the title, click on the issue number you want to add the variant to, click on the Variants tab, click on the red 'Report Missing Variant' button in lower right after the other covers, and fill in the info boxes as best you can, and upload the pic from your computer/phone, and they'll get to it when they get to it.

Okie dokie
I thought we had to do this first. sounds like I have it backwards. for future reference I should report missing data directly at the issue or publisher page. If that doesnt yield any results then I'm suppose to post in the forum?

I am not an admin - but it really is not too hard to find out this information for this comic on your own. Check information here.

Too lazy to check multiple source - you can do it - the info is out there.

Check for what?

I was asking for clarification on the data at hand. How is something a reprint when the indicia states "First Printing"
I trying to figure out how to handle my dead brothers collection thats 800+ books. Thanks for the help

If buying premium keys I would always prefer a graded book and preferably by CGC as they seem to have the better reputation.

Crowman, What does CGC have over CBCS? I'm just wondering, I haven't sent anything for grading yet, but I do have a few I want graded and encased, and signature verified. Just want to know what the difference is?
Thanks

Nothing really, just length of time in business but the top grader, Steve Borock, who help start CGC is the guy who started & runs CBCS. CBCS is also a little cheaper. Wiggle jmo I'd go with CBCS

I as well was going to use CBCS as they are only $40 where CGC is $100 as just kind of a base price. CBCS seems to be considerably cheaper. I have read that CGC had some grading issue a while ago and lost some popularity where CBCS naturally picked up. After hours of reading who was better it seemed that it was pretty well divided. But when you look at auctions and other sales i have yet to see a CBCS graded book they are always CGC. What I wonder, is it just the simple fact that CGC has been around much longer and therefore has a lot more graded books out there and that is simply why I see them everywhere. Its just simple numbers and there hasnt been enough time to show that both companies are doing well and respected by the community.

CERTAIN kinds of database info can be added by members directly, like missing variants of comic titles ALREADY LISTED. Other data like a comic title that is not listed at all, or a fully missing issue, or mistakes in a listing, need to be posted here, or contact an admin directly like ronbatman (ron 'at' comicspriceguide.com), which is usually faster. Ron has posted many times saying that for missing variants it's better for them to have it submitted thru the form I directed you to, as admins don't look here all the time, and it gets IN the system that way and they check that all the time. A few members here can also edit info in listings to correct mistakes or fill in missing info.

The Guidelines post at the top of this forum tells you the 'format' to post info for missing issues or corrections that need to be made: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic8-guidelines--please-read-before-posting.aspx

Pretty much if there's a variant missing or a comic doesn't have an image, you can provide that info yourself when logged in via the issue's own page and buttons they have for whatever info is needed. Images should be cropped to the edge of the comic, and be nice clear ones, with no watermarks from other websites. I think paying members can also add creator info etc. not sure about that, I'm a free member and don't remember the last time I tried to add info to a listing other than an image.

For future reference for searching tips should you need it, see this thread for my search tips (4th post down): https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic12110-evil-ernie-youth-gone-wild-directors-cut.aspx

Not all books are worth grading. It is an expensive and time consuming process so you need to research if it is actually worth the money to grade a book. This site can be way off in the price of graded books because, if you look, very book in every grade is worth more graded than not and that is just not true. You have to take the time to look around various auction sites and ebay to see what graded copies actually realize and go from there. Guides often have you believe you are sitting on a goldmine when you may have not much more than a coal mine.

Well I for one can say that after reading this and doing some investigating have watched my 580 book Gold mine turn right into a Coal mine. Well at least thats how it looks anyway. I inherited my older brothers collection of over 800 books. The way it looks now after all the time spent researching prices, imputing the collection and categorizing, supply's, cost of mistakes that will be made along the way of educating myself I think I might actually make a a cool nickel......... lol I still have a couple hundred more to type in but I'm kinda discouraged now.
