It's faster if you submit it yourself. save the pic to your computer/phone first. then look up the title, click on the issue number you want to add the variant to, click on the Variants tab, click on the red 'Report Missing Variant' button in lower right after the other covers, and fill in the info boxes as best you can, and upload the pic from your computer/phone, and they'll get to it when they get to it. edited by collectibleshop on 12/10/2019

Okie dokie I thought we had to do this first. sounds like I have it backwards. for future reference I should report missing data directly at the issue or publisher page. If that doesnt yield any results then I'm suppose to post in the forum?

CERTAIN kinds of database info can be added by members directly, like missing variants of comic titles ALREADY LISTED. Other data like a comic title that is not listed at all, or a fully missing issue, or mistakes in a listing, need to be posted here, or contact an admin directly like ronbatman (ron 'at' comicspriceguide.com), which is usually faster. Ron has posted many times saying that for missing variants it's better for them to have it submitted thru the form I directed you to, as admins don't look here all the time, and it gets IN the system that way and they check that all the time. A few members here can also edit info in listings to correct mistakes or fill in missing info.
The Guidelines post at the top of this forum tells you the 'format' to post info for missing issues or corrections that need to be made: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic8-guidelines--please-read-before-posting.aspx
Pretty much if there's a variant missing or a comic doesn't have an image, you can provide that info yourself when logged in via the issue's own page and buttons they have for whatever info is needed. Images should be cropped to the edge of the comic, and be nice clear ones, with no watermarks from other websites. I think paying members can also add creator info etc. not sure about that, I'm a free member and don't remember the last time I tried to add info to a listing other than an image.
For future reference for searching tips should you need it, see this thread for my search tips (4th post down): https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic12110-evil-ernie-youth-gone-wild-directors-cut.aspx

there is no status checking. they get to them as they can, sometimes it's a day or 3, sometimes a month or 3 if they're backed up. only way to check is to check the title's variants tab and see if it's listed yet.
