I got this:

Step A: Bag and board if possible (if not at least a plastic bag to protect from tape)

Step B: Place between two firm pieces of cardboard

Step C: Insert into bubble mailer of choice and (optional but highly recommended write "do not bend" on it somewhere)

Once again I delve into the wild and crazy marketplace that is ebay.

May the stress and tension and nail-biting that is being a seller have mercy on me this time.

I can't compete with some of the one dollar guys and I don't have a lot of fantastic key books but I am going to start paring my collection down to a more readable size and I have started to read more of what I have and there's a good bit that i just don't want to try to collect anymore due to sheer volume. I've always liked to read what i have and so I've put off a lot of that reading due to incomplete runs so I've gone the way of the trade paperback where available. Which frees up a lot of floppies...

so here's what I've got so far and I guess I'm limited to ten listings since this is my first month. So, new stuff coming next month? we'll see

Yeah Idk why they won't work for me either sorry about that. should be as simple as copy and paste because ebay offers for you to share them after you list and you just click on the share button and then paste where you want to share them. maybe i'll try to edit them.

ALWAYS IMPROVING?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this so sorry if it's not.

When viewing my collection is it possible to have the system remember my preferences for setting the results per page?
Every time I go to a different letter within a publisher it automatically defaults to the minimum as you can see in image "A" below.

My marvel "M's" would show on 5 pages at 25 titles per page but for the sake of convenience I would much rather have two pages with the setting at 100 per page and the second page showing the additional six titles.

Image "B" just shows the box I have to click on every time.

Well anything is better than nothing I know cpg isn't a mega corporation with billions to spend on tech support guys but maybe have a way to keep tabs on the issues as they crop up so they don't slip through the cracks and result in lost/disgruntled members. (not me though I just renewed) Just trying to do my part.....

Thanks! it took a little tinkering around but i figured out how to do it now. There is actually a button on the forums here to click and paste the link in the popup window when it comes up. My browser was blocking that pop up before. Here's the old comic room.

It's been a good start this time i posted my atari jaguar system and all of my games
(even the sealed ones!) and it sold within 12 hours for $550.00! I was thrilled and that got the ball rolling in a good way.

So far so good.

As far as pricing goes I've been trying to do a combination of completed listings versus guide values and working out an average between those.

Also I've been trying to put together lots that make sense and hopefully will appeal to buyers who want to read the comics. What I have to offer isn't really slab worthy but they are nice enough to read and keep. I also don't have a lot of spare time to sit down and look through every page for defects and assign a grade so I've been leaning more towards the buy based on the pics approach.
I have an older Sony camera so it's a fight to get good pics in the poor lighting I have.

If anyone has any constructive criticism to offer I'm not opposed to making improvements.

WHATS GOING ON WITH INCORRECT PRICING!?

So this topic brings quite a few questions to mind for me but, I'll focus on this one: Is there in this modern age of fantastic computing and amazing information at our fingertips a program or algorithm that can be used (or may already be in use) to look at all of these factors and compile a more accurate and perhaps real time floating price?

In other words, Can one look at all the info on a specific issue and see a historical value/ a current value and highest realized price for said issue all in one place/site /guide?

If I look at batman #655 on the guide $20 (9.4) ebay from $19.99 to $49.99+ just in completed listings and CBR $20.00 but Mycomicshop has it for $32.00 (8.0) so I'm sure there's some mark up there for the retail side but what would you say to some one one the street if they came up to you and asked how much is my batman #655 worth?

Ebay to me paints a very clear picture of what has been paid. No doubt there but how much of that is a speculative trend and how much is it just plain luck?

oh well I'll stop there to stop wasting time. I could be reading a comic right now....... If only I had a batman 655.......

Don't judge I haven't slept in three days.... it's hard to see what I'm typing right now.

Agreed. I tried to use it once to delete multiple issues and it kept scrolling down with the screen thus hiding the "big red button."

My work-around for this was to use "CTRL"& "+" to zoom in and "CTRL"& "-" to zoom out. but still very aggravating.
