12/23/2021 Topic: Spider-man: No Way Home *No Spoilers* Ronbatman Administrator	Great Movie! One of the best Spider-man movies ever. The guest appearances will knock your socks off and the credit scene is fun. Sooo long we have waited for this. Dr. Strange is an interesting addition to this movie and seems to be a grumpy old man most of the time. Excited, great action scenes, good emotion, fun appearances. There is a complexity to the heroes and villains that makes for a more realistic movie. The heroes aren't always good and the villains aren't always bad. When we add spoilers there is one villain who I'm dying to talk about. It's the voice for me. Ron

1/3/2022 Topic: Have you noticed? Ronbatman Administrator	Have you noticed all the venture capital that is being poured into the comic book industry? CGC parent company bought by Blackstone. Valued at 500 million for CGC alone Whatnot app raises 225 million to buy new tech and almost all comic YouTube personalities. I'm sure there are more that I'm not thinking of right now. Two things - Can you name other comic companies that have received venture capital recently? What do you think will happen to the market because of all this money? Ron

They are also hiring multiple YouTubers to promote their business which is really helping them. I haven't bought anything there but I am talking with someone from there today. It would not surprise me if CGC raised its prices in the next year to recoup the invested money. All of these multi million dollar investments need a return. Some of Ruk's questions involve inflation on the rise. "What will money be worth?" There are people who aren't comic collectors who invest in high-end comics as part of their portfolio. They might have a certain percentage of their investments in stocks, crypto, gold, real estate and comics. We are seeing a significant rise in the price of 9.8 graded comics. R

If you have trouble with a certain member try to work it out between yourselves first. If you continue to have issues then contact me and I will intervene. Most of the time, people are able to work it out. Ron
1/11/2022 Topic: New Search Feature Ronbatman Administrator	We have several things that we are working on but this one is finished. When you type in the main search bar you can type the Title, the UPC, or the ISBN number. I have to say this caveat, this only works IF the UPC or ISBN numbers are in our system. We do have one of our admins adding UPC numbers to new books after we add them to the system. So for titles with several volumes, this should speed up your search. I just typed the UPC for Amazing Spiderman 79, 75960608936907911 and it came up. When they first started adding UPC on books they repeated the same number every year. So some results might have as many as 10 possible choices. Amazing Spider-man 166 has the same UPC 0714860245703 as Amazing Spider-man 178 Amazing Spider-man 190 Amazing Spider-man 202 Amazing Spider-man 214 Amazing Spider-man 226 Amazing Spider-man 238 Amazing Spider-man 250 Amazing Spider-man 262 Amazing Spider-man 274 I hope that helps you and I look forward to announcing more improvements soon. 1/11/2022 Topic: My Gains & Drops not updating Ronbatman Administrator	Just to clarify - If you click on your user name in the upper right corner, in the dropdown you will see a tab called Gains/Drops. That only shows the last 10 changes for your collection. If you click the orange button at the bottom called "My Gains and Drops" you can see the changes in the last 30 days. These are for your specific books in the specific grade you own. If you only have changes for one publisher, only that publisher will show up. They are currently listed in date order and then alphabetically. https://comicspriceguide.com/gains-drops/ If you want to see the 9.4 raw books that have changed go to this link under the Price Guide link. https://comicspriceguide.com/value-changes/ These books aren't necessarily in your collection. You have changes with Hulk, Infinite Crisis, Ghost Rider, Thing, Thor, Werewolf by Night all in the first few days of 2022. It does look like the newest changes are at the bottom but we can switch that this morning. Ron
