I think this is the series you are looking for The issue itself will depend on whether it's a soft cover or hard cover.

This is what you are looking for, I assume. If you typed Shield as one word without the periods, it would not have come up.

You will need to send the money yourself, as the site simply provides a means for buyers and sellers to connect, not and actual payment and shipping process.

When you go to the "Uncanny X-Men" title, look at the top and you will see a tab call "Giant Size." That's where you will find it.

Searches with only one letter don't really work. You'd need to go to the Dark Horse publisher and then the letter X. If this isn't the series you are looking for, more volumes can be found using that method.

Ok, I'm not 100% sure of this, but I know that the comic I listed usually has warnings on it in things like Overstreet. Basically, it goes like this: The Famous First Editions series was printed with two covers. The first outer cover is the one showing the black border and has the modern indicia inside. The rest of the comic an exact duplicate of the original, including the indicia. As a result, some people simply removed the outer cover and sold the comic as the original.

I think that's what you might have. The Famous First Editions with the outer cover removed.

Those issues can be found by clicking the "Annuals" tab at the top of the series listing.

Amazing Fantasy 15 CGC 7.5 Restored, price?

Restored values are tricky, since there is a lot of personal preference out there. It is going to depend on just how extensive the restoration was and what exactly was done for most people. It's almost best to try and value it at the grade it would have been if it was not restored, near as I can tell.

The crash definitely didn't help. And yeah, I've heard the same thing about social media destroying the traditional internet forum. Most of the other forums that I frequent are also suffering from a lack of participation, though at least CPG doesn't have the trolls and troublemakers as the only people still posting. Small victories!

And nice X-Men books. I'm getting antsy about buying again after seeing those... Soon I will be able to buy again...

I'm the same way. I only recently went over $50 for a single issue (we won't mention bulk collections...) and still get the whole "Is it really worth it" feeling if I pay cash.

And space? Ask Kairi about the amount of space my collection takes up. At this point I have 44 long boxes.... My current shelves only hold 24. So I have boxes stacked up all over the suite.... I'm really not looking forward to unstacking those boxes to add more stuff to the boxes at the bottom.... So many issues that aren't even worth selling....

Quicksilver and the Scarlett Witch (or Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, if you prefer) both exist in a strange license limbo. The character in Age of Ultron is the same character as Days of Future Past and Apocalypse. This is because Marvel retained the rights to the Avengers and their main members, while Fox got the rights to the X-Men, Magneto, the term mutants and most other things related to the X-Titles. Quicksilver and the Scarlett Witch are partially covered by both licenses, so while Marvel can use them in their movies, they cannot refer to them as mutants or mention that their father was Magneto. This is why they became the result of experiments in Avengers, while Quicksilver is a mutant in Days of Future Past. And they probably killed Quicksilver in Age of Ultron to avoid confusion over having the same character in two different and unrelated movies (the X-Men movies are completely unrelated to the Avengers movies)..

That happens with some regularity. A lot of the time, the mini series will be planned as a mini series of a certain length and then get one more or one less issue as it nears it's completion. Never quite sure why, though I usually assume it's because the writer and artist didn't realize that the story that they wanted to tell was going to be a bit longer than they thought when splash pages and art are added. The series usually goes to print before the final issue is finished, after all.
