Hey everyone,
So I found a whiz comics #2 the first shazam story at a antique store but this version was oversized, I haven't had any luck finding information about it online so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with what year it came out and what it's potential value could be.

Nope, I found that already. The one I have is the original book itself nothing added or taken away. It's just much larger print than the original

Ok, I'm not 100% sure of this, but I know that the comic I listed usually has warnings on it in things like Overstreet. Basically, it goes like this: The Famous First Editions series was printed with two covers. The first outer cover is the one showing the black border and has the modern indicia inside. The rest of the comic an exact duplicate of the original, including the indicia. As a result, some people simply removed the outer cover and sold the comic as the original.
I think that's what you might have. The Famous First Editions with the outer cover removed.
