4/15/2019 Topic: Value question Ronbatman Administrator	If it is a third party verified signature you might see some increase. We don't add any value to books that are signed because they fluctuate wildly. It comes down to how much more an individual seller is willing to pay.
4/16/2019 Topic: Post Pictures of Your Comic Room! Ronbatman Administrator	For the shelving, I sanded industrial piping down to make it shine and cut old barn wood. It was easy and it turned out great. Our new house doesn't work well with the industrial feel so those shelves are boxed away. We moved about a year ago and I'm still figuring out what looks best in the new room. Here's another picture of the old room. This was during the process of converting from long boxes to short boxes. 4/16/2019 Topic: Offers On The Marketplace Ronbatman Administrator	Taskmaster, we've looked at a lot of things related to selling on the site. You are a very active buyer from what I've seen on the backend of things so I value your opinion. Because of what you've said in the past we implemented the non-responsive seller alert. When someone doesn't answer offers (10 times) we put all their books into vacation mode. They won't have to reenter them into the system but they do have to manually reset their sales. We added the feedback system to help as well. We hear you. Personally, it frustrates me as well and we want to eliminate sellers who don't seem to want to sell. I'm with KDS, make me an offer and I will accept it, every time. R

4/17/2019 Topic: Batman 181 value needs a look to increase values Ronbatman Administrator	We went through that issue and made some major adjustments, especially in the graded books. That book is hot. I'm wondering if this is related to the new movie Birds of Prey although they've only announced Harley, Black Canary and Huntress. (that I've seen)

4/18/2019 Topic: To open or not to open Ronbatman Administrator	I would free it from the bag. The bag isn't archive quality like a Mylar or enjoy the benefits of being slabbed. We at Comics Price Guide don't mark down on an unbagged copy because you have to unbag it to be able to grade it.
4/19/2019 Topic: Detective Comics 871 undervalued Ronbatman Administrator	Donald, I'm currently working on the Scott Snyder Detective run and should have all issues from 871-881 updated today. For the Golden age stuff several adjustments were made for grades that sold recently from Detective 80 to 84. You won't see these appear on the recently changed list because all values didn't change. There were quite a few middle grades that saw jumps. Those old Tec's are so amazing to me and extremely difficult to find.
4/22/2019 Topic: GSX 1 lower grade prices seem low Ronbatman Administrator	This is such a key issue that we really studied it. Some prices went up significantly while some of the highest grades dropped a bit. Everything from 9.2 and lower went up in value. I think this is a reflection of people buying what they can afford.

4/24/2019 Topic: Are these Golden Age Comics worth restoring? Ronbatman Administrator	Wow! Both of those books are great and could be restored, but is it worth it? For an extensive repair, Batman might cost $1000 to restore. Would the end value justify the cost? Risky at best because restored 7.0's aren't worth as much as normal 7.0's. (Or whatever grade they could make the book) High-end collectors would want a graded book so it would be obvious that you restored it. That's my opinion. R
