DETECTIVE COMICS 38 - DC COMICS 1940 - COVERLESS - FIRST ROBIN \| eBay My copy is PGX. I wonder if it would be worth more out of the case (because people think PGX is garbage) LOL.

I want to say it got that grade due to what looks like a crayon or some sort of mark on it (I don't think its marker). Do you think it would be worth trying to clean/press and then re-grade? Donald
4/20/2021 Topic: LCS Changing for the worst BasementComics	I have seen the same thing at some LCS. I get all my new books from DCBS (can't beat the discount as long as you are ordering enough to cover the shipping charge).
4/20/2021 Topic: CGC Graded/Encapsulated prices BasementComics	I think PGX is hit/miss. I talked to some dealers at a convention and most of them hate PGX as the graders they (used to) employ were not good at their jobs. I though I heard recently that they've gotten better at it but the PGX I have are probably from the questionable graders. Knowing CGC and CBCS are leading the pack, I would probably go to them. CBCS sometimes does discounts monthly if sending books in bulk.
