Haven't had a chance to check it out yet. I'll probably watch it this weekend though. I'll let you know what I think when I do.

It did feel more like a continuation of the movies. There were a lot of references to End Game.
I loved how badass Bucky was in the flashback. That was more my style than Sam's opening drama. It was still cool, I just liked Bucky's better.
The whole shield thing was expected. From the moment of the first press conference you knew his choice was going to be manipulated / used against him.

I wish the series was more than 6 episodes. I'm really digging this series and wish it would continue.
