This looks really good! I hope they make their goal(s). Not only do I want to see the collection, we think my Dad had a degree of Asperger's, so it would be interesting to see the documentary for a couple of reasons.

I just wanted to point out that the newest "Recent Value Changes" has Man From Atlantis #1, #3, #4 and so on as 1978, but #2 as 1977. Just a typo I'm sure.

i watched it at Skywalker Ranch before it was in theaters, so I got to see it before any "reviews". That helped me enjoy it because of the experience and the audio there was amazing! My 2nd viewing at home was a little less enthusiastic, haha! |

Mobile app not up to date with the website?

I don't know if anybody else has had this problem. When I'm out buying back issues, I'll use the "Collection" tab on the CPG mobile app to check which issues I have and which I need, then purchase accordingly. Once I'm home I'll go to the CPG website on my laptop to enter the issues I purchased. Several times now, when I go to enter the issues I didn't think I had, the website will now say that I have those issues already. Those issues weren't in my collection on the app earlier that day!! I do not add them while I'm on the app because I prefer to add details I can only do on the proper website.
It's somewhat annoying when it's $1-$2 comics, but very aggravating when it's $25+ comics. It's unlikely I'd recoup that same amount if I were to try and resell that comic.
The only good thing that has come out of it is that I've ended up with a few copies that were in better shape than the ones I already owned.
Anybody else??

Hello, I thought I saw a forum about this before, but I don't see it now. Does anybody have any suggestions for a good comic pressing machine? Something decent, but affordable would suffice. I'm not dealing with a huge number of books, or super high end books, just a moderate amount, and wanting to improve the look of some medium condition books. Thank you for any input! -Gage |

Thank you for the feedback! I've been hearing that t-shirt presses are commonly used. I wasn't aware of "clamshell" or "swing-away", so that helps!! |

I just got a nice stack of Disney comics and was loading them up in the database, but noticed a mistake on issue #99A. The series is fairly consistent monthly up to #98 November 1948, then #99A says June 1941, but then #99B says December 1948, and continues consistently after that. Just letting you know. I really wish they hadn't separated the Annuals, King-Size, Giant-Size, etc. from the main titles! Even if there isn't a "missing" issue or title like the above, it's a chore to have to go to each "title" separately to enter issues. |
