Its possible that we might not be debating the same thing, but I'm not contending the existence of outliers. I'm challenging the accuracy of the reported values that I assume are supposed to be a reflection of the bell curve. It is possible that if some unlucky soul were to compile ALL market data and perform a comprehensive analysis then we may discover that the standard deviation is much larger than anyone would've anticipated. In the event of this "wild, wild west" scenario, we may be forced to challenge the whole enterprise of formal price guides in general. Regardless, I believe that a workable deviation exists and would have to conclude that most people do as well, otherwise we wouldn't be using/relying on these guides.

What kind of envelope would you use with a single comic book? It seems like a large cost for the buyer if I use USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate envelope to ship in. I have thousands of Marvel comics that aren't worth more than a couple of bucks each and I have no idea how to make this a worthwhile endeavor. There are a few comics that are worth real money and that will make sense but the vast majority of my collection from the 80s is not going to fetch that much.

I bought a cgc graded comic book online,but the top corners and bottom corner have small cracks.
Should I leave it like that or get it regraded?

I tried searching for "DC super-stars of space" issue #4 and could not find it. I tried looking by the publisher and also various ways to spell it, no luck.

You could export your collection into Excel and sort them from there. Strange that they can't do it here in the database though.

It wouldn't hurt if they provided more info as to why it is handy to have the UPC number (and that the whole number is necessary). If you look online there are explanations of how to read a barcode for your own use. I used to not pay them much heed but over the last few years I have found them very helpful. Some of the smaller publishers don't always have the most handy barcodes but for most one only needs to look at the barcode and you can tell exactly what issue, printing, and version/variant you have.

Last night I saw a preview of this movie. It seems to continue the pace of the first movie with many of the same characters. Of course they have added the character of the Ghost who first appeared in an Iron Man comic book. I found the 3D for this movie to be much further along than any previous movie I have seen. I am not saying it is super, super great, but in certain scenes it was noticeable. Most of these scenes were low key scenes. I mean something like telephone wires in the foreground contrasting greatly with something happening on the ground below. Stuff like that. Stan Lee makes another appearance in this Marvel movie and has a very funny line. There is even a Partridge Family song in the soundtrack, so you know this movie is about fun. This is a very fun movie. And yes, there is a scene at the end of the credits.

Is it a good idea to purchase comics coming from overseas if they say they're manufactured in the US?? I don't want to get ripped off. Thanks in advance for the help.

I know this would be low priority but would be very helpful in verifying new data. I would like a way to filter out data I have submitted (since I cannot approve or deny) or data I have already approved or denied. This of course should be a checkbox or toggle.

Currently there are over 1000 items in the verify data section items in which I cannot do anything (either already validated or I submitted). When I see there is new items I have to go through each publisher and starting letter to find items I can verify. These filters would speed up the process.
