Lots of goodies Ox, do you ever sell comcis? You got 100s of books there. Keep em coming.
Thanks very much BC! I do sell on occasion but any deal I can give on price would likely be gobbled up by shipping costs However, I do sell.
Thanks for the compliments!
BTW I still have another 500+ images to add to other publishers. I also scan and upload my weekly purchases almost every Sunday. |

This thread has some numbers:
http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8859033&fpart=2
They mention 6K on the colour, 1500 on the B&W, and very few of the Virgin cover (less than 30 possibly). |

Is that my old cover less #1 of FF that I see? You look to have added one with a cover now as well! Awesome. I wish I could have secured 1-10 when I was younger I have never physically seen a #2, 5,6, and 8-10 |

I totally hear you on the recreation cover. I had considered it as well but also decided not to. Even to GR Reprint is a cool thing to have. |

Inhumans for the new reader...guidance please?
Oxbladder

There really isn't a right or wrong method. Especially when you are jumping in on a team that has been around for over 50 years. Generally thought the very first appearance is the one that is always going to move the most in value and that is regardless of whether they use the original or current lineup in the TV show or movie. What I suggest is just fill out the current series you are reading then start working on the older series and appearances when you get the time, money, or interest. I would also work on eventually getting Fantastic Four #45 (1965) which has the first appearance of the Inhumans (Medusa showed up earlier in issue 36 of FF). Mini-series or event books are hit and miss and in most cases you do not need to read them.
Another option if you just want to read the older stuff or do not care if you necessarily have to have the individual issues is find and buy trade paperbacks or digital copies. edited by Oxbladder on 1/29/2016 |
