 The Death Fruit 
A story featuring Leopard Girl.
Meru discovers an antidote to the poisonous berries used by the witch doctors to commit murder. She sends away Munya her talking chimpanzee to collect some poison berries for testing however on his search, Munya witnesses an infant ingest the berries so runs back to Meru for help.
Meru discovers the infant has become the subject of the witch doctor's ceremony. He concludes that the child will die.
Defiantly, Meru takes the child back so that she may provide the antidote, angering the suspicious witch doctor and villagers.
They attempt to murder Meru, however her talking animals frighten them and they flee allowing Meru to return child to it's mother.
