Mister Majestic, completely agitated, fights off S.T.A.R. Labs' security and Rampage. John Henry Irons stops any further violence and reason with Majestic for why they sent him into the Phantom Zone. Majestic ruefully tells Irons that what he and the Eradicator are doing in destroying the Time Storm would only trigger the reality collapse, not prevent it, that Majestic previously warned them. Majestic finds at least that Lois Lane is the only person she could trust him as he flies off to stop Eradicator, Superboy, and Steel. Irons then immediately contacts and warns Eradicator of Majestic's coming.

Hearing this, Eradicator has Superboy and Steel to impede Majestic while he will detonate the CVE bomb. Majestic incapacitates Steel as she falls, forcing Superboy to save Natasha than fighting against Majestic.

Eradicator made it near the center of the Time Storm and launches the CVE. Majestic arrives and the Eradicator fights him. After a scuffle, Majestic punches Eradicator away and destroys the CVE bomb with his eyebeams.

On the ground, S.T.A.R. Labs learns of the CVE's destruction as everyone is left with hopelessness, including Lois who runs out in despair. Outside she sees the storm explodes as the whole city is bursting with numerous explosions with reality apparently collapsing. S.T.A.R. Labs is similarly engulf and Lois is carry to safety by Majestic. Lois upsetting tells Majestic Metropolis is destroyed, but he shows otherwise. High above, Majestic and Lois see that Metropolis isn't destroy, but remains intact in its old usual appearance without Brainiac 13 technology.

Irons and S.T.A.R. Labs staff are totally dumbstruck that Majestic was right of destroying the CVE bomb. Eradicator, Superboy, and Steel returns to the Lab which Irons embraces with his daughter. Eradicator, however, is still suspicious and distrustful of Majestic, and swears that if he is right, then he will eradicate him.

Touching down on a roof, Majestic explains to Lois that much of the city was constructed from extratemporal technology, and the storm was just restoring everything back the way it should be. The storm took everything that was bequeathed from the future to its origin in a violent, yet natural event. And destroying the storm as he warned would have been more dangerous if he hadn't stopped it. So forth, Metropolis returns to its original form.

As Majestic is about to leave, Lois questions as to what he will do now. Majestic answers that he hopes to return to his home someday, but until then if she ever needs him she only needs to look up in the sky.

Across Metropolis something stirs in a dark alleyway. Eradicator's suspicions were not totally unfounded. Something sinister did crossover during the storm: it just wasn't Majestic.
