Arrival!
Rom arrives on Earth and encounters Brandy Clark for the first time, saving her from a car crash on the highway.
Following their encounter, Rom arrives in the town of Clairton, West Virginia ahead of Brandy and banishes a number of Dire Wraiths, sending the populace into a panic.
When Brandy returns home to Clairton, she first discovers the giant space robot has arrived ahead of her, and then hears about the slaughtered townsfolk.
Rom takes Brandy aside and tells her of his origins and current mission. He explains that the men he killed were shape-shifting Dire Wraiths in disguise. Some remaining Dire Wraiths embedded into the community contact their overlords, who send the National Guard to deal with Rom... but they lack the ability to hurt the Spaceknight. Rom easily defeats the soldiers and sends the Wraiths to Limbo.
