The Coming Of The Melter / Convention Of Fear Tony Starks is at Stark Towers and giving a press conference about it being powered by clean-energy. He gets attacked by the Melter. He damages Iron Man’s suit pretty bad but doesn’t destroy him. He is offering his technology for sale. The Melter runs into War Machine and damages his suit as well. Tony and Rhodes make a bet to see who could find him first. Both have no luck. Together they find the Melter. Iron Man and War Machine work together and defeat the Melter. He is arrested. / Tony is in San Diego and is trying to talk to his production line there, when he is attacked by two men. They seemed possessed. But they are stopped. Tony needs to get away and distract himself and goes to a comic convention. He goes dressed as Iron Man. But other bad guys had the same idea, but to rob the place. The Black Lamas is behind the possessions. The Melter, Whiplash and Man-Bull are at the convention. Together they try to take down Iron Man. But thanks to another fan dressed as Iron Man, they are defeated. The Black Lamas got burned and teleported away to avoid being burned alive. The Convention hails Iron Man, but he is escorted out by security because he didn’t have a badge.
