80 Page Giants Theme

DC Comics’ 80-Page Giant series, launched in 1964, featured comic books with an unusually high page count, typically 80 pages, compared to the standard 32 pages of the time. These issues often contained reprinted material from the Golden and Silver Ages, focusing on popular characters like Superman, Batman, and the Flash. The series provided readers with a substantial collection of stories at a higher price point, initially 25 cents. In the late 1990s, DC revived the format for special publications and reprint-themed annuals.
