Is there a site that can authenticate a signature and or identify the signer? I had a limited run signed years ago at a convention and now I can't remember who signed it. |

Is there a way to authenticate a signature and/or identify who's it is by scanning it or sending a photo of it? For example, I have a Wolverine: Origin issue that I had signed at a convention years ago, but I forgot who signed it. If I had to guess I would say Jenkins, but it's hard to tell. |

I have several high value comics that I would like to send to CGC to get professionally graded. What should I expect it to cost and how high of value is considered worth the cost of sending them? Is there a link to their site to get them sent and an address? |

Depending on the comic and its grade it can absolutely be worth it. Also can be worth it to encapsulate some comics that you actually care about and want to keep "safer".

If you go to their website cgccomics.com, you should be able to find info about the cost of slabbing your books -- the price will vary according to the age and value of your books.
To decide whether it''s worth it on a monetary basis, the best thing to do is research your books one by one, comparing their raw value in the condition you have to the value of slabbed books in that condition. If a book is worth 15.00 raw and 30.00 graded, it's not worth doing. The easiest way to get that information is to look at completed sales on ebay; you can also get reliable information about the value of slabbed issues (but not raw ones) at gocollect.com , but they charge a subscription fee and the information you get as a free user won't be very useful..
Thanks. I know I can add significant value to each issue I send, but I don't know what the actual cost is to have each done or if there is single fee for all of them. |
