Other Info: Cover shows copyright-symbol "WALTER LANTZ PRODUCTIONS, INC." with interior copyright dates of 1974, 1962, 1961 "by Walter Lantz Productions Inc." The issue I have (138) has what appears to be publishing info in the bottom left panel of the splash page: "90062-409" on the first line, "W.W # 138 - 74 7" on the second line. I take this to mean Woody Woodpecker, Issue# 138, 1974, July. There is no month listed on the cover or the interior on any page that I was able to find.
I'd also like to point out that "Western (Gold Key/Whitman)," "Whitman," and "Gold Key" are currently listed on the site as separate publishers. I'm not sure if this is deliberate or if some consolidation is in order.

Thanks for the catch!
I'd searched the plain Whitman and the Whitman/Gold Key publishers. I didn't think it would be in the Gold Key because I thought it was reserved for titles that were only Gold Key. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This does, however, kind of make my point about the need for consolidation of the three "publishers." |

I have a comic in my collection that was self-published by the artist. I think it's one of those "rare, not valuable" type of situations. Is that kind of thing something that I could / should post for addition to the database?

This issue is very probably a one-shot. The author self-published this comic, then not long after and with sporadic exceptions stopped updating their website. (http://www.venusenvycomic.com/)
