I have about 225 Golden & Silver age comics to sell. Been busy compiling a list and not quite done yet.

Anyone have any thoughts about Heritage Auctions? OR Quality Comics? I am sure I could sell individuals, but I am less sure that someone should trust a noob's valuations... Although I can read the code like anyone and do my level best to be objective. Perhaps better to go with the whole collection approach? They're not even boarded and bagged yet, is that important to do before shipping?

Ugh, so many questions. Thanks in advance to anyone replying.

Thanks for the reply! You'd be amazed what some of the old walt disney stuff and other 50's oddballs go for... like dagwood and classics illustrated and the lone ranger and promo comics from stores... and so on... I've discovered it is probably 90% golden age. The key is finding that audience and I've no clue, probably atypical collectors. I will check out mycomicshop.com for sure!

If it's all silver/golden age, and not super valuable books/keys, I'd check out mycomicshop.com They have a pretty good consignment system and a large audience.

if it is super valuable stuff, Heritage is certainly a good option, I'm not sure what their cut is though.
