Selling Comics At Full Price

If you've never sold on eBay, sellers lose money on shipping. Back in the day, eBay only charged fee on item value so sellers inflated shipping and lowered prices to avoid paying eBay. eBay got wise and now charges on the total amount including shipping handling, everything except tax. If the UPS charges $7.75 flat rate envelope, it costs the seller an additional 15%. eBay gets 10% on that $7.75 and then there's Paypal, which takes 5% of EVERYTHING. I laugh at some of these people selling items for 99 cents with $7.75 shipping. They lose money on every transaction! Guess they figure they'll make it up in volume. Lost 20 cents, if you do 100 transactions you'll make money, lol, lol. Anyway, that's some insight into the selling side. I'm posting comics from my youth and out here trying to figure values, all very subjective. Do people really consider "Fine" to mean creases, tears, and folds? Really?? Anyway, happy collecting!
