Where does CPG get the prices?

I was wondering where CPG gets their pricing? I've noticed some prices not being very accurate to their market value. For Example, Batman 635(1st Jason Todd as Red Hood) at 9.8 is listed at $14 raw and $56 dollars graded. That book will go for well over $200 in that condition. That's a pretty big price discrepancy. |

The pricing is way off on Doom Patrol 99 (Beast Boy's 1st appearance). I don't know if this is the place to discuss this but I also noticed that Superman The Man of Steel 18 1st print was too high. |

The price guide has the 9.8 graded Batman and Robin Frank Quitely sketch variant from 2009 priced at $1000. The price is completely off and I think the average of this book now is somewhere around $150-$175.

Brave and the Bold 60 values is well off of what the current market is getting for books in all conditions.
This is the first appearance of Donna Troy 2nd Teen Titans. A very rare book in high grade. |

Being a bit off is fine, but that is unacceptable for a paid service. I hear other collectors talking crap about Comics price guide about there algorithm for this very reason. I’m just trying to let them know that when I find a really bad one. |

Batman #121 (first Mister Freeze) prices are way off when selecting graded. As much as I would like those prices to be correct, they are not.
