I've noticed that the Top Gains/Top Losses sections in My Collection are not displaying the information from the gains/losses found here: http://comicspriceguide.com/value-updates/. Minor bug issue?

Along the lines of another post I just read here, I added a variant cover about a month ago and it has yet to be added. New Suicide Squad 9...a sketch cover of the Jim Lee variant. I feel for the employee who has to track all the variants.

Hey all, DC put out at Wizard World 3 variants for Batman Adventures 12 - the first appearance of Harley Quinn in comics. One color, one black-and-white, and one without any logos with color on front and black-and-white on back cover. Does anyone have any info on these? number of copies printed of each?

Along with the two variants already in the database, there is a third variant given out at Wizard World. This one is a virgin variant without any logos showing the color cover on the front and the black-and-white cover on the back cover.

Hi all...I've been looking around for auction sites other than the big ones: Ebay, Comicconnect, ComicLink, Heritage Auctions. I'm always looking for smaller, local auction sites to expand my collection. I've run across several but never think to write down the website and always seem to forget the names. If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

The last five digits of the UPC will tell you. For example:
#1 first print will be 00111
#1 2nd print will be 00112
#1 third print 00113
#2 first 00211
#2 second 00212
(BTW the first three digits are issue #, the next is variant(regular covers are 1), the last is printing. Most companies follow this protocol but not all)
1st additions will not have a barcode. Im not sure if any of the reprints do. Check the indicia on the inside cover. It will not say 1st print, but should say second or third print if that is what it is.

Straight alphabetical for me (except a small group of random one-offs i've bought). I buy the plastic dividers. The series I like each gets a divider, but some I throw behind one divider. I have almost every Batman series each having its own divider, but series like Harley Quinn I bunch all together. My biggest problem is deciding if I want all of one character together. I cant seem to decide if I want Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man, Avenging Spider-Man etc all in one place or strictly alphabetically. Currently I have them all alphabetical, but it might make more sense if they are all grouped together. I just cant decide. |
