MISSING Immortal Red Sonja 3

This does look strange since all the cover scans for #2 are missing and #3 only has the cosplay cover. I've sent an email to the three most likely admins to find out if they are working on it. If not, I'm sure our friendly neighborhood Casper can help some. Have you noticed how helpful he is? Either way, we will get this worked out today.

It's not listed on our site because we don't list any books until they have shipped. Preorders can change.

Polybag Issues

We've received some variant requests for polybag issues that have been unbagged. I'd like to share our policy on it. We do not provide pricing for incomplete issues. For example, if a book is supposed to have tattooz and doesn't, we will not be making a new listing for the incomplete version. For polybag comics we will provide pricing on

Polybag issues - raw will have values, graded have zero values. Third-party graders like CBCS and CGC don't grade issues with a polybag on them.
Separate listing for Opened issues - Raw and Graded will have values as long as they are complete.

This isn't a change in our current policy, just letting everyone know.
Thanks,
Ron

It's a Marvel UK book so you have to change the country to the UK.

I know this is a tangent from the original topic but we had the same struggle with polybags leaving lines on the back of the book where the plastic overlaps. I tried traditional pressing, over and over again and they remained. We tried with aluminum plates and were able to remove the lines. It is possible to get the lines out. FYI

You can submit any book on the site for us to review. Go into a specific book like the Australia Western Bandits 1 from 1952.

https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/western-bandits/1/touuls

Click on the values tab if you aren't already there. Just above the Graded value column is a button called Suggest Value Change. Click that and fill it in with a finished auction. We will look at it and adjust it as necessary.

Doarave, I think it's a bit dramatic to say "there seems to be no one at the helm" because one book isn't approved yet. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make this site run. Hundreds and hundreds of books get approved, added and value adjusted each week and every week. Be patient we will get to this.

Missing Issue - Classics Illustrated

Classic Comics and Classics Illustrated were created in a weird sort of way. Changing the title to Classics Illustrated, changing minor details, dates, or prices, and then reprinting them over and over again, causes a lot of confusion. We should probably look at a way to better organize them but it isn't near the top of our to-do list.

There is collectible insurance that you can get.
Collectinsure.com

There are also places with vaults where you can store your most prized collectible. I know CBCS and Ebay have vaults.

Update and thank you.
We currently have 1,166,000 comic books in our database. Please compare our numbers to everyone else, it's not close.

We have 238,000 UPCs in our system that can be used by our app to add comics to your collection.

We have made more value changes this year than any year in our history! With 5 months still to go in the year

We have more paid and free members than any year in our history. (since 1997)

We are on an unparalleled run this year. We've hired two people this year and it looks like we will be hiring again soon. If you know a comic book person in Indianapolis who would like to work for Comics Price Guide please have them contact me. They need to know comics and we will train them on how to value comic books for the site.

Most importantly, we would like to thank all of our paid and free members! From submitting data, serving as an admin, chatting on the forums, approving data, or even real-world things like talking about CPG, thank you!
