Thanks, but still strange as I did the "search all" categories, including just now after successfully using your listed link, and they don't come up. |

Hello. I was trying to upload a variant cover to the site and it keeps telling me "the input string is incorrect". I know the size was correct and it is a jpg. What else do I need to do? I tried dropping it and using the upload option. |

Alien Legion graphic novel not listed

|
Greetings. I just bought a better copy of this GN and when I went to add it I found it's not there... I searched for Alien Legion, Marvel Graphic Novel and "A Grey Day To Die" (As that's the story title) and it didn't come up under any. Details: It was published by Marvel under the "Epic" banner in 1986. It is not a numbered graphic novel as some were. The full listing inside the cover is : Marvel Graphic Novel: The Alien Legion - A Grey Day To Die. |

Alien Legion graphic novel not listed

Yes, that is it! As I said, i tried searching Alien Legion and A Grey Day To Die as well as Marvel Graphic Novel. Nowhere in the book does it say #25, so that doesn't help in a search. Some of the "Marvel Graphic Novels" are listed on their own, others in the series. It's a bit confusing, especially when it can't be found under the title.
Side note, "collectible comicshop" above link goes the whole series, the one from glorkar goes right to the GN. edited by iron_puppy on 1/20/2024 edited by iron_puppy on 1/20/2024 |

There have been some nice sales on eBay (none I won...) for rare Canadian whites. Lucky Comics published by Maple Leaf Publishing does not seem to be listed. The issues that sold were #2,(1941) #18 and Vol. II, #8, 1944. edited by iron_puppy on 11/8/2024 |

Classics Illustrated 144 The First Men in the Moon

Hello. This is both missing and an error. I went to add a copy of Classics Illustrated 144, which is HG Wells "The First Men in the Moon" and what I saw listed was another title... but I also saw it had UK pricing, so their numbers must differ a bit (yay...). I have attached to copies of #144, an earlier 15 cent cover and a later 25 cent cover, both clearly saying #144. |

Anglo American Spy Smasher graded vs raw

Hello! I was just adding some Spy Smasher from Anglo American (Canadian White issues) sales for price adjustment and noticed that vol I and vol II (I didn't check III) have high prices for raw (pretty close to market) but the Graded prices are $5-$100 instead of the prices for Raw. |

Spy Smasher has high raw and low graded

I was looking up some Canadian whites and saw that Spy Smasher (the Canadian one) has higher values for raw but very low for graded. I cut and paste an example: the first value is raw and the second is graded...

Classics Illustrated by Berkley First Publishing

Greetings. I don't know if I missed them, but I can't find the editions of Classics Illustrated published by Berkley/First. The one I just tried was Edgar Allan Poe The Fall of the House of Usher (1990) and it doesn't appear under anything. I have a few from the run but this is the first I've tried to input.
Any thoughts? Stephen |

Action Comics 133 Canadian Edition

I posted this issue on the site as a missing variant, but it seems to have been deleted...
Here is the information again. I bought a copy of Action Comics 133 for the "Published in Canada" on the cover and when I went to check it on the site realized it has the cover to Action Comics 139. Unlike #139 there is no mention of a "Tommy tomorrow" story and the page count description is gone from the cover. |

Searching for annuals
iron_puppy
|
I was just trying to add a Guardians of the Galaxy annual to my collection but when you type in Guardians of the Galaxy and select "comic type- Annual" it says their are none. I really like that feature to trip down the options that pop up, but it only works if the comic is listed as an annual. I found it after going through 3 pages of Guardians stuff and it had Annual in the title, but it should still be listed as an annual. |

Hello. You are correct. I tend to leave it on issue as when I've tried looking for "annuals" under "annuals" they have never been there and only under 'issues", so I just stopped even thinking about theother options. I will try to be more open minded again.
