3/16/2023 Topic: better pic for Superman Lost #1E foil collectibleshop	https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/superman-lost/1E/piqulxy has a very dark pic that I couldn't tweak to look at all decent, so found a better one that matched what actual photos of copies on e*** showed, but it's a way clearer pic that many sites are using, but seems to be production version. attached it below.

3/17/2023 Topic: Missing Comic collectibleshop	direct link to it: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/guardians-of-the-galaxy/2014_free%20comic%20book%20day/pjpplpt you can usually find most, but not all FCBD books by adding 'free' or 'fcdb' to the title search, but not in this case. when there's multiple volumes of a title, just match up the year of the volume with the year of the FCBD issue (in this case the 2013-15 Guardians series), and then look under the series' FCBD tab as Xvipah said. You can also use the 'issue' dropdown menu on the main site search form and go down to Free Comic Book Day (along with the title field filled in) and that will get you the various volumes that have FCBD issues.

The CGC boards have a thread on 'Phantom price guide issues', and the guy says "Dream Book of Romance #124 (#9) (1954) Does not exist. This is supposed to be part of the A-1 series, and there is an A-1 #124 -- but it is a humor issue titled "Hot Dog"." 3/27/2023 Topic: Missing Comic Book collectibleshop	yep, seems to be missing. comics.org, mycomicshop and others don't have it either, but the vine does, but no info. seems to be only 4-6 pages. quoting from a 2016 article from New Orleans: "This Fire Prevention Week, Siemens has partnered with Marvel Comics to create a special edition comic book to bring attention to the importance of fire communications technologies to help mitigate the danger that fires present, and improve the systems that warn and help occupants exit a building....Iron Man, Captain America and Siemens Intelligent Voice Communication System have teamed up to save the day in “The Avengers: A Cause for Alarm." there's a link to a read.marvel.com site but I didn't want to post it in case the filter blocks it, but people can find it online to read. edited by collectibleshop on 3/27/2023
3/28/2023 Topic: New Mutants Graphic Novel collectibleshop	direct link: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/marvel-graphic-novel/4soft_cover/wlwroq for future reference, on the main site pages search form (which has more filter choices than the forum search form), you need to either use 'All Types" or the specific type of 'comic' in the Comic Type field/dropdown menu for what you're looking for if it's not a 'normal' comic (Issue is the default choice). So graphic novels will be under the soft cover or hard cover choice, or use All Types and they will come up if you use the right title. You used to be able to use Marvel Graphic Novel #4, as that's the correct title, but now you have to narrow the issue choice from Issue to the more specific type or use All Types.That will get you more directly to the book, but as Gilgandra said, hardcovers and softcovers are under those tabs for the series title listing. The 'older' Marvel Graphic Novels and DC Graphic Novels are under those titles, vs the character/team name, usually, and that causes a lot of confusion too. this post announces some of the new search features, and it would help the newer people if it was added to more, and pinned to the Q&A, Help Locating, and Missing Issues forum, as these 'can't find it' posts are happening regularly since the update: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic17586-new-search-feature.aspx#post39088 edited by collectibleshop on 3/28/2023
3/28/2023 Topic: Eight Billion Genies collectibleshop	Hi, FYI, you posted this twice, so you can delete the other one (there's delete button below the posts.) from checking e* and mycomicshop and comics.org (who don't have all the variants either), and other sites, it appears the CPG 1E and H are duplicate listings of the same book. I thought maybe 1 edition was limited to 500 and the other not, but publishers usually make a difference in the covers in that case. but every copy I see on e* says the 1st edition 1E is limited to 500, and the ones with the title on them are the 4th print. pic of 4th print attached. edited by collectibleshop on 3/28/2023

Then there would be 10 million more listings for all signed comics in the database. The MEMBER collections can add all the signed versions they want to their collection list of course. and I expect the reasoning for the signed issue being labeled as a variant too is because the 2nd print is a variant cover of #1, therefore the signed version is the same variant, but signed, and listed separately since it's a DF version. Ronbatman can tell you more specifics tho. and note to admins, the referred to post still says " COA's (certificate of authenticity) will not be mentioned", yet they mention it on this issue, so maybe that post needs another update edited by collectibleshop on 4/1/2023
4/1/2023 Topic: Fathom #1-G Reprint Edition 2021 Ryan Kincaid Var collectibleshop	are you talking about the Fathom the Core or the Kickstarter editions or what? always link to the CPG listing to help people find what you're talking about. to attach a pic to a forum post, use the 'attach files' button at the bottom of the compose window, browse to the pic on your phone/computer, click it to add, then 'add message' if your done. that will only show a small thumbnail or link, but it's openable/downloadable so people can check it out. if it's a good sharp pic/scan, it's helpful to crop it to the edges, and then CPG can reduce it and use it.
4/1/2023 Topic: Freaky Creature #1 and 0.5 collectibleshop	found this on some other sites, but appears to be a one-shot, super small production, so easy for CPG to never come across it. I made smaller pics of yours and cropped the #1 to the edges better, and attached them for CPG to use.

There's too many Fathom series and too many variants to paw thru. not sure how the forum looks on phones, or if safari or an adblocker is blocking the image of the 'attach files' orange button for some reason, but no, the admins don't need anything done to your account to post a pic here. You have to be in the compose/post window to see it, should be below the post field on bottom left, with 'preview' and 'cancel' buttons in that row. to attach a pic, it has to be from a file on your phone, but I don't have a smartphone, but gotta assume the 'browse' feature works on those too. you can post a URL/link to a site that has the pic too. edited by collectibleshop on 4/1/2023
