11/30/2022 Topic: The High Desert/ James Spooner collectibleshop	they have the hardcover at https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/high-desert-black-punk-nowhere/1_hard%20cover/phwvhyq , but there's a softcover too, so is that what you're saying, the softcover is missing? it has an added text banner along the top, saw a couple on e*** but the pics are not CPG quality. Can't seem to find a good pic of the softcover so far, not even on the author's site, or google or a few major book sites, or comics.org and your amazon link is the hardcover version. so if you own it and can scan it (cropped to the edges of the book), you can attach it to the post and some admin can add it to the hardcover listing. I submitted a pic of the hardcover already. and for future reference, you can list multiple missing issues in 1 post, no need to make them separate. edited by collectibleshop on 11/30/2022

Here's how: Get a good square-on scan, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges of the comic. If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, no signatures, no pro-graded ones, and try to make sure they're a published version, not a pre-production pic (like a Previews solicitation often is), as those get changed in production all the time. Best to resize them if you can to about 350-400px wide, but CPG can do that too. Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this. -Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. -Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'. -You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants. -Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request. Always try fewer keywords, that helps 99% of the time when you can't find something.
1/2/2023 Topic: ADDING A SERIES TO CPG collectibleshop	let's see if this helps, as CPG does have a link to add a run, be it a full run or just a section of issue numbers. Note to admins...This needs to be added to the 'how to add comics' video that's 8 years old now obviously you must be logged in, and will need to be a silver or gold member to add more than 50 books. Search for the title you want to add, and click on it. In the right hand column of 'your toolbox', go to the bottom of that pane and there's a link to 'add run' under the 'create new box button'. clicking the add run link opens that pane more and you can fill in the run of issues you want to add, with or without variants, and click the Add Run button and they will be added to the My Collection section or to a comic box if you set that up. The main prob I see with this is that the grade and value for each issue will be the same (default is 9.4), so if you have to edit each book (or run, if they're the same but not all 9.4) later to the supposed grade if you have different grades, so that takes time too. Perhaps if you have sections of the run that are all the same grade (like maybe the newest years you bought at a store and are all 9.4 or 9.6 etc), you can add that section(s) as a separate group(s) so you don't have to do all those individually. I haven't fooled with that since I don't have runs to add, so if someone knows a better way, they'll chime in. edited by collectibleshop on 1/2/2023
1/2/2023 Topic: Missing Values X-Men Variants collectibleshop	all of your first group are noted as "This issue has been recently added to our database and research on its value has not started." So until they find enough sales to get a handle on the price.. and there may be sales they haven't checked lately, as they don't have 1,000 employees to run checks for the ton of variants that come out all the time, plus enter new books and missing issues etc. Members can help with that by tracking down actual sales online and posting the links in this forum. ASKING prices on e*** and elsewhere are useless, only sold prices do any good, especially for pro-graded comics, so likely CPG hasn't found enough graded sales for the Rogue/Gambit variant yet.
1/5/2023 Topic: Missing cover...Hulk Grand Design Monster collectibleshop	actually that cover is by Peach Momoko. Your image doesn't have the barcode, so I found 1 and submitted it. for future reference, you can submit missing images yourself when they have the 'missing scan' placeholder, just click the bottom part that says 'contribute scan'. they need to be production covers (vs pre-production that may have no barcode on the front, but do when published), no watermarks, no signatures or slabbed copies, and cropped to the edges of the comic, and under 5MB size, which is huge. So I recommend resizing them to around 400px wide. You can find many at comics.org that are fine to use as is, but they don't have everything either. Don't use mycomicshop as they have watermarks. there ya go.
