11/10/2021 Topic: Import Comics Ronbatman Administrator	There isn't a way to import but you can add books very quickly by using one of these 4 methods. 1. The In-depth Way Go to the title - like Guardians of the Galaxy https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/guardians-of-the-galaxy/pkqthu Then click into a specific issue, like #1 https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/guardians-of-the-galaxy/1/pktscqu At the top there are four tabs click the "My collection" tab. You can add the book and fill in all sorts of details. After that don't forget to click the green button at the bottom 2. The Fast Way Go to the title - like Guardians of the Galaxy https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/guardians-of-the-galaxy/pkqthu Click the green button to the right of every issue you have. You will see green text appear on the left that says "You own 1 issue" 3. Super Fast Way Go to the title - like Guardians of the Galaxy https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/guardians-of-the-galaxy/pkqthu On the lower right side you will see a button that says "add run". So if you own 1 through 50 you can add them all in a few seconds. 4. Bar Code Scanner If the book has a UPC code and the code is in our system you can scan it with our app.

11/12/2021 Topic: Scans Switched Around Ronbatman Administrator	On the forum, you've probably seen a few requests for scans that have been switched around. Let me explain what happened. A few months ago we had issues with our images not showing properly. Obviously, that wasn't acceptable for us. We tried and tried to work with our vendor and they couldn't perform up to our standard. So we made the decision to use them as a backup and our servers as the primary. Because of that the images are consistently up and loading faster. (according to Google Analytics) While that part is all good for your experience there was an issue. The issue is the scan switch. Typically, it happens on the number 1 issue that has multiple variants. We have an automated fix, IF we know the title. If you see cover scans switched around just let me know the title and issue and I can fix it. Thanks, Ron

It's good for you to know what's going on here at our offices. 1. UPC's Any member can add a UPC to the site. When you add it to your collection and have the book in front of you, help us out and add the UPC. All numbers in the UPC area should be used. This helps everyone coming after you to scan the book to add it. Pay it forward for your fellow collectors 2. Price Suggestions If you think a price is too low or too high, suggest an update. Let's say you have seen What's the Furthest Place from Here? #1 going for more at an auction. Go to the issue page https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/whats-the-furthest-place-from-here/1/phtplxs Click on the Values tab Right above the Graded Value column is a button called "Suggest Value Update" ONLY use an Auction or Sales site. ComicLink, Heritage, eBay, or another auction site 3. Weekly Books We have been a little behind since the one and only, Jesse, retired. However, two admins have stepped up and are learning fast. We are working on a faster, automated system that should be in place next week. If you see scans that are missing, please feel free to jump in and add them to the system. 4. Pressing and Cleaning Comics At our offices in Indianapolis, we have pressed thousands of books. If you are a member of the site, you can submit books for cleaning and pressing for only $10/book. Ridiculously low price. We typically run at less than 1-week lead time to turn your books. Today we are pressing some Fantastic Four issues for a comic shop here in town. 1st Agatha! What a gorgeous book. 5. Hiring We would love to hire someone locally to help us. If you know someone in the Indianapolis area looking for a job, please send them our way. For the last 3 years, we have grown by an average of 25% EACH YEAR. Our goal is to always be improving, automating when possible, and providing our customers with the best experience. If you know someone with that mentality, we can train the rest. We have been looking at a larger office space but that is still preliminary.
