I mean, they can post for whatever they want, no? It's their property and that's what they value it at. If you don't want it at that price you can jus not buy it. I fail to see what the issue is?

You know, I bet most people don't really remember there even was a villain in civil war. The civil war between Tony & Steve was over loyalty to the Winter Soldier and acceptance/denial of government guidance (oversight) over superheroes, which turned out to be Hydra oversight of superheroes.

Zemo wasn't a bad villain, but he was the third villain in the movie.

I just picked up a beat up copy of Avengers #6 today. First full appearance.

Helmut Zemo first appeared in Captain America #168.

CPG members sell thousands of books. Taskmaster knows this because he personally has bought hundreds from CPG. I've said repeatedly that if you let me know of a seller who is unresponsive I will talk to them. Worst case I will delete their listings. (I did this last week to someone's account)

We are trying to build this part of the site and honestly it's going fantastic. We have 15% growth over the last 2 years and 30% growth the year before. Yes, I get it there are a few bad sellers (and buyers) but the vast majority are honest people saving money selling here instead of the Bay.

Taskmaster, we've had this discussion before so I won't go into it again.

I've been forwarded messages that you sent to sellers a few times and some were rude or condescending. If you sent me a message like that, I would reject everything you made an offer on too. No one likes to be treated like that.

I'm trying to help you see this from someone else's point of view. If you were more understanding with sellers, more of them would want to sell to you. You buy a lot of comics so they should want you as a customer. If they sold it somewhere else, fine. It's no big deal. It's not worth calling them an _____ or a _______. You burn the bridge that you might want to cross in the future. It's not that deep if they sold a comic somewhere else. Treat sellers with kindness regardless.

It's still Helmut Zemo's first appearance regardless of which costume he puts on.

I see can see it both ways.
Captain America 168 was the first appearance of the character.
Captain America 275/276 was the first time the character adopted this persona / wore the purple (pink?) mask.
It gets a little confusing because Baron Zemo is his name, but it's also the name of a persona (like Captain America) because of the costume.

I don't know. I think in this case, I personally care more about when the character becomes the character I'm familiar with than when he showed up as something else.

That's not all that surprising. Just cause there are Silver and Bronze keys that are expensive doesn't mean there aren't low print run, in-demand, coppers and moderns that are worth thousands. There's a whole lot of more current comics out there that people are paying ridiculous prices for. From New Star Wars Series, to stuff like Miles' and Spider-Gwen's first appearance, even to stuff like Punchline's first appearance, though that hasn't hit the thousands yet.

Also this came out in 04/01 there are only a total of 33 - 9.8's of this actual comic. So if a Star Wars fan really wants this book at a 9.8 they are going to pay a high price for it. If people have a ton of raw high grade copies of it just sitting around you would think they would be flooding the market with it right now seeing how the average price for this at a 9.8 is $1,350.
