The limit to 1000 was split between the two from what I can find online. I have the B cover but mine says Shattered Comics on the back and CGC lists it as the "Shattered Comics Sketch Edition" Plus the image we have for cover B shows 1.50 on the front cover but mine shows 9.99 on the front cover. So I don't know if they should be listed as separate variants or the same Should I just add this as variant since I never got a response for this?
6/28/2021 Topic: "Raw" Prices vs. "Graded" Prices Theoldcollector	Like Ron was saying it's 3rd party graded. So a 9.4 raw is not the same as a CGC 9.4. The CGC one has been graded by a professional grader and then as mentioned by Ron it's sealed in plastic then encapsulated in a plastic shell. So yes the price of a CGC 9.8 is going to normally be way above a raw book that may be a 9.8. There is also money involved in getting a book graded and one heck of a wait time plus all the shipping and insurance costs as well. Plus getting the book cleaned and pressed before hand. If someone buys what looks to be a 9.8 raw they don't know for sure without inspecting it thoroughly for any issues including any restoration attempts if they are really getting a 9.8. 3rd party grading companies help with that part of buying and hence why the prices are way higher.

I actually bought that same book CGC 9.8 for my brother years ago as a gift due to he loves the Punisher and while I love my brother I wasn't about to buy him a graded ASM #129 But every time I see it at his house I kinda selfishly wished I had kept it for myself

I have the Shattered Comics one and I was hoping someone who has the Little Giant one would have seen this in the forum and either verified they are different or are they the same.

Theoldcollector	I don't know why you posted this twice but the comic market has gone up quite a bit in the past year we all have seen this. As for commons going up what commons are your referring to? My LCSs still have dollar bins for commons and there are plenty of sites online that I buy from to fill runs or story lines I am reading with books that aren't keys or expensive. This site has books as well. If your buying on EBay your paying more for pretty much everything. EBay right now is like trying to go to HA and find a deal.

6/29/2021 Topic: "Raw" Prices vs. "Graded" Prices Theoldcollector	If it's a comic that is very rare like Action Comics #1 just a single page from that book can go for thousands of dollars so a graded 1.0 of a very rare or sought after book can fetch a very high price if it's rare and wanted by collectors. The comic market is high right now but also just because someone is asking 19k for something doesn't mean it's worth 19k. Some people on sites like EBay will do that as kind of a place holder when the book is for sale in a store and posted up on Ebay for a high dollar amount. They then can receive offers from buyers via EBay and still have it on display and up for sell in their actual store at the same time. Use the graded prices here on this site to give you a starting point but because the market is crazy right now the price of some stuff is changing daily so you will have to research sold listings and not just on EBay but other sites and stores as well. There are multiple auction sites just dedicated to comics. This site does a good job trying to keep the prices updated for their current values and members make suggestions on price changes as well to help. So this is a great place to get a feel on prices.

Due to the market being so high right now spec books go for higher amounts than you are used to? There are a lot of other places to find books other than E-Bay. I am a collector not a flipper or seller and I try and avoid E-Bay because the prices there tend to be higher-way higher for most books. Shop around or go to your LCS or even look on here. Or give it time and see if Brother Voodoo is not in the movie and buy it then when the price for that book drops. Or if he is in it buy it before it goes through the roof. Unfortunately that's just the way the market works.

7/1/2021 Topic: CPG App logging out Theoldcollector	So I don't use the website's app very often and this has happened twice now both times when I needed the app due to not being at home. When I open the app I am no longer logged in and there is a JSON Parse Error. The first time it happened I logged back into the app once I got home and checked it a few days later and I was still logged in so I figured it must have been a fluke but then it happened again. Does anyone know what causes this or how to make sure the app doesn't log me out? Here is a picture of the error.

7/2/2021 Topic: CGC and Comiclink mistake Theoldcollector	Came across this looking at tonight's auction over at Comiclink. It says it's Ms Marvel #1 and even the CGC label says it's Ms Marvel #1 but clearly it's #18. Both companies dropped the ball on this one I guess the people bidding on it want it since that it's Mystique's 1st full appearance? That or they aren't paying attention to what they are bidding on.
