No matter what, this is an incredible change which should help expedite member collection entry and also admin turnaround times. Nice one! -DAvid

I haven’t forgotten these two and took a break for them for a bit to help catch up on some of the other variant submissions. I’m going to pick these back up in a Cpl days. The WCA one I may need to enlist the help of some of the experts on here because I am almost out of leads. I aready have the updated variant submission so we’re good for now. No need to resubmit.

1/21/2022 Topic: Ultimate comics Spider-Man #1 Casper0312	Gilgandra or Ron, I sorted this out and just need an assist on removing an extra entry. Can you remove 1D: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/ultimate-comics-spider-man/1D/phtscrt I didn't take the same logic as collectible above and here's why. When looking at the covers, it was clear this was a case where the cover scans were shifted. Someone went into either deal with a variant submission or manually correct the scans. This book has interesting logic with 1A being polybagged and then 1B/C being the Newsstand and Direct unbagged versions and have been there for a while. Over 200 members had already recorded books under 1B, which just recently displayed the wrong cover. The 1D extra entry only had 5 members linking to the entry, which had a wrong cover/wrong description. No matter what, it is likely the 1D members would have needed to change their collection no matter how we corrected vs the 200+ linked to 1B, most of whom linked when the scan matched entry. So, I took the least disruptive route and manually corrected all the covers. Yes, for all these scan problems there is a good chance there are impacted members who need to update their collections if they linked based on just looking at the scan alone. I imagine this is why there is quick attention to this as soon as scan issues are reported.

1/29/2022 Topic: Leave On The Light #2B Cover Casper0312	I think it keeps getting rejected because it is unclear if it ia actually the correct cover for the issue. Cover A is this one: https://www.previewsworld.com/Catalog/JUN191437 Cover C should be added and i think should be this virgin\ which is the foil virgin variant: https://www.comicbooksurplus.com/products/leaveonthelight2of3cvrbfoilvar-jun191438 Cover B needs descriptor updated with the cover above and gold foil variant. Interesting the cover submitted matches most on the bay, having gold lettering. The one on the pub site has white lettering. All the above covers have the same cover artists. Then I also found this potential variant (what’s with the rabbit holes today).
