that would be this #1, which has the Alex Ross 1C cover instead of the Bryan Hitch cover jarhead posted. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/captain-america-reborn/1/woxyjw It loads for me ok. the #1D, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/captain-america-reborn/1D/woxyjy is NOT the Cassaday Sketch variant either, it's the Quesada cover. Pic attached of the Cassaday sketch/black and white variant. edited by collectibleshop on 2/19/2022 |

so this is your pic of the correct ruby red edition, right? https://comicspriceguide.com/img/members/roswlr/covers/avengelyne-pandora-1d-volume-1-ew5pndgt_lrg.jpg
if so, they just need to swap it with the 1D and add the velvet cover there as 1F or something. they're also missing some other variants, but I'm not going to bother with tracking them all down and copying pics etc. |

you can copy the CPG pic location this way, and apologies if you've tried this before, but it works for me with your pic: if using windows, click the CPG pic on its listing to bring up the larger image. right click on that and choose 'copy image location', then when you write a post, use the 'image' icon in the middle of the menu bar (to the right of 3 lines 'list' icon) and paste that image URL in the popup field that shows up. back off the 'http:' part, as it's all https now. that way it will show the image in the post, as so:

Still no idea why you can upload to your display box but not attach a link on a forum post, but this is one way to work around that so it makes it faster to identify the book and get pics added. you can do the same thing with other website images, but that steals their bandwidth to supply the image, so not a good thing to do. so better to post links to pics if you don't have your own. edited by collectibleshop on 2/19/2022 |

Do we know what "printing" these are. There is already one listed as 9th printing that's #1 of the first pack. I see that 9th print now, but #2-5 don't have any of the Mack covers yet. No idea of what printing those will be (you'd think they'd be the next printing in line after what CPG has, but no telling for sure), so someone who owns them will have to look inside them, or try to contact Boom Studios and see if they can get an answer. edited by collectibleshop on 2/19/2022 |

wow, it's pretty bad when comics.org, mycomicshop, mile high, atomic ave, ebay etc don't list it, or at least have a pic. CPG does have Illusion in the publishers list, but not this title. Illusion seems to have no website, just FB etc pages. Nothing for Shadowland Pub on google either.
as for the signed edition, CPG doesn't usually list signed comics unless it's Dynamic Forces stuff, but sometime they slip up. take Visage #1 for example. pic is of a signed/numbered copy, and upside down! https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/visage/1/phrvnvy if you own an unsigned copy of #1 and can get a good scan (square-on scan, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges of the comic, with no watermarks, no signatures, no pro-graded ones), you can attach a pic or link to 1 and maybe it'll get added. edited by collectibleshop on 2/19/2022 |

yep, that's right, the $1.25 one was published in Canada in 1990, the $1.50 US reprint was 1993.
so this is the one that needs changing (Canadian one): https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/amazing-spider-man-skating-on-thin-ice/1/tiuvnq

Thanks Claydwilli but no none of those are what I remember I wish I could remember but it was some sort of special issue like a Dc annual or Action comic special edition I’m pretty confident it wasn’t a Superman issue…
when you say 'jumbo' size, do you mean thickness, or treasury size (10x13")? is Beast Boy the boy who can become a monster at will you're thinking of, later known as Changeling? possibly this one (treasury size)?: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/limited-collectors-edition/C-52_treasury-size/piwyhx edited by collectibleshop on 2/21/2022 |

That’s it! For some reason though I thought one of the stories was with Legion of Superheroes, but that is definitely it I owned it as a boy but later when my mother moved several comics went “ missing”- I am relieved that it wasn’t a substantial collectors edition!! Thanks so much- how did you find it? long story, took a while. figured if it was a treasury size I'd find one of those series with a cover that mostly matched your descrip. It has the Legion in it as part of the Last Days of Superman story. Details on https://www.comics.org/issue/68963/

always best to post a link or attach a pic to save people time hunting stuff down, plus name of cover artist etc.
attached a pic you can copy and upload to submit it yourself, here's how: Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this. - Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/chicken-devil/1/phuykuw in this case.
- Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
- You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants. Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.

Hi I think I have those. How much are you paying? The ones I have are more than 8.5 in my opinion

so apparently this is the combined TPB for both issues, but same cover art as #1. smaller pic attached for CPG to use, as your pic link doesn't work, at least for me. funny how IDW has the 'on sale date' as 01.01.1970. so it came out before the 1st movie and before IDW was born? paying attention, someone is not. edited by collectibleshop on 2/26/2022 |

The Darkenss (Vol 1) #1D Fan Club Edition

yeah, their pic is wrong, it's showing the preview edition. The pic for #1C is the correct pic for 1D. 1B pic is what should be 1C (black platinum foil cover/title), and I attached a pic of the regular black cover for 1B. 1E is also wrong, that's the Wizard ACE edition. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/darkness-the/1E/uktums . I think the calling it a 'preview' edition is incorrect too. comicvine shows it under their Animated Archive editions, but it doesn't denote that on the cover. Can't find anyone else that calls that cover the Animated Cel Archive preview edition, so my guess that's just wrong. The pic is of just the regular #1 preview edition as noted on ones for sale and CGC labels. Why would Image do a preview of an edition they only made 25 copies of anyway? So seems to be a mistaken description near as I can find via e*** and MCS etc. Always a rabbit hole with all these variant mistakes. Attached the only pic I could find of the 1E Animated Cel Archive edition. That site says "It is also signed by Michael Turner and comes with the Jay Company provenance, being part of the highly collectible Museum Edition family. There are only 25 copies of this book in the world and is hand numbered. It comes with the Jay Company Foil Seal intact and a Certificate Of Authenticity on the back."
So the pic I attached is the regular published, limited to 25 copies Animated Cel Archive edition, so that may make it a 'new' variant for cpg to add if they want. I see no hand written sigs on the cover, so maybe it's signed inside or on the cert. man this took way more time than I wanted to spend, especially for free.
I own that whole fan club kit with the comic, been trying to sell it for years for less than original retail, but no one seems to care about The Darkness any more.
this is what comes in the kit if anyone wants to know. Slipcase, comic, 3 newsletters, Cyberforce print, certificate, two trading cards.
