I'm not clear..

I see on 20 last panel he says "Instead, I will simply..." (raising him)

Then 21 at top he says ...BREAK YOU

hes dropped to knee,

with KRAKT at lower right to indicate "ouch" from said dropping to knee

What's out of line please? this is a first printing, the very first one listed: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/batman/497/pjsxjt

oh crap forgot spoiler tag

In the copy I have, pages 20 and 21 are reversed so the breaking comes before what he says he's going to do.

The first two issues of this comic series has sold for much higher than CPG price. Needs an update.

Comic issues still missing prices

Hi,

I've noticed I still have quite a few comics that are not reflecting any costs in CPG. I've submitted some links from eBay showing prior sales but not sure what is going on with those.

Is there an easy way to find all the issues in a collection that don't have costs so that they can be submitted back to you for pricing review?

Thanks

Allow me to explain some things behind the scenes. When we get a large backlog of variants (like right now) some admins will approve things to get them into the system without pricing. This allows you to enter them in your collection and file them away. It allows us to quickly move through the tremendous number of submissions that we receive.

Then at a later date, we can go back and do the necessary research to gather the pricing. Some books sell so infrequently that we cannot gather good data and those will remain at zero. Other books have sales history but we don't have the time to research them.

We are currently working on a way for members to submit links to us for research. The system is built but needs to be tested. We are working through this to the best of our abilities.
Ron

Thanks Ron

I too prefer DC over Marvel. Batman (only need 10 issues) and Detective Comics (need 29) are the heart of my collection. I used to have the ASM 129 but think I sold it (or maybe it was stolen...I don't remember) alongside an X-Men #8. I have a few beauties with one being House of Secrets 92. I want to say it's a 7.5 but with a bit of cleaning, it could easily go higher. My Batman 232 (1st Ra's) I think is NM. I really want to get them graded but will only deal with CGC or CBCS if they (not facilitators) show up at a local con. I am deathly afraid of mailing anything in and I don't want to pay even more with a facilitator. That's just me.

I'm waiting for my next batch of books to come is so I can hopefully jump up the ladder a few spots.

I am a bigger fan of DC than Marvel-always have been
I love Fawcett-that is my specialty
I have almost complete Captain Marvel Adventures-the real Captain Marvel from the 1940s-
they renamed him a few times
and great other Fawcetts-Captain Marvel Jr, Mary Marvel, Wow-Whiz-Master-
and the cowboys-Hopalong and Gene and others
My DC is pretty good -early Superman and Adventure -
My claim to fame-early New Comics in good shape-that is predecessor to Adventure comics
I have Spiderman 129 in perfect shape and a ton of Spiderman 300-but I am a DC man and I like the old stuff
My Philosophy-
to me as an investment the Gerber Rarity index is the key
there are a gazillion new comics out there-and they often sell for crazy prices
and I respect that-people can buy what they want
but Gerber Rarity means less than 50 around
Gerber 8 is even less
I have several Gerber 7 and 8s
not famous ones-stuff no one has heard of but they are part of our history-our life

Now to me that is the key but listen---I am old and grey and still waiting for my pay here
so take this as the babbling of an ancient Canuk

Hello,

I am new to this so bare with me. I have found some old comics that I have had for years. Since 1977 actually.
These are Star Wars comics and I was wondering what variation I had. I have seen a few variations and prints of the first issue and was wondering who had info on what I am to look for to determine what I actually have.

Thanks for the help[/quote

Hello Admins,

The cover price you have for the standard cover is $6 but you have the variant at $3. This cover is also $6 and needs to be updated.

Thank you.

HI Ruk,

I am also noticing a lot of my Batman and Detective are not moving in price although auctions show the books going for more than posted here.

Anyway, update from me:

Total 5748
$122,265.45

Don't go too far into hiding. Chris Jericho may have his "list" but it doesn't hold a candle to "Ruk's list".
