uh, the beta site is up, I've seen it, so they ARE doing something. ask netstuffers to be a beta tester and check it out if you want to help.

wrong forum for this, although many are using it due to the first post, which was simply done to GUIDE people to the right ways to look up comics, not really to post 'missing' ones. those go in https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/forum15-database--missing-issue-discussion.aspx

read the guidelines post there first: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic8-guidelines--please-read-before-posting.aspx

it appears that book is not listed, but it's a hardcover from a small publisher and may have been overlooked, as many of those things are. the more publishing info you provide the easier it will be for them to add in some year.

those links to the ravengregory site didn't work when clicking because they have a 'span' at the end of the URL somehow (didn't notice that before, sorry), but they do work when copy/pasting. not sure if you can still edit those after all this time.

the new site is supposed to be with all new code and better servers, so hopefully will run faster and less downtime when the bugs are worked out. looks mostly the same, so no big learning curve for navigation of search use for us members. home page is 'busier' and has some illogical arrangement in my opinion, but that's what they want beta testers for, so hope you can get approved.

so you might as well wait on posting pics, it may be a while before anyone can update the database.

the better forum for this topic is the Original Comic Art forum, https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/forum7-original-comic-art.aspx , so best to post it there.

The New Mutants

yes, the search engine is screwy with many titles that DO have 'The' in their official titles. Searching on The New Mutants with the default 'all words' only turns up the graphic novel, but searching New Mutants gets all their titles. But if you type in 'new mutants the', you get 6 various titles/crossovers. Same with The Avengers for his other thread. But why people think issues that are that old wouldn't be listed, and why they don't just try fewer words and leave out 'the' and 'and' before posting 'missing' issues, is beyond me. That's search 101 for anywhere, including google etc.

But the CPG search needs a big fixin' anyway. As well as the Guidelines post so it tells people various ways to search.

Gold Key "The Wild, Wild West" issue #3 1968

it's yet another title that doesn't come up when you use 'the' in the search. seems to be an epidemic of this for new people lately. It's under just 'Wild Wild West':

https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/western-gold-keywhitman/wild-wild-west/3/phptjs

always try using fewer key words before asking. for some reason the search engine is weird about the use of 'the' and 'and' in titles, so using those words may not get the desired results.

and if you need other info besides guide pricing, these are 2 good resources:

it IS listed, just takes some looking, but it's not explained well anywhere how to do searches and look at the TABS on the results. they have help videos on youtube, hidden under the 'About' link at the top of the pages here:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3eOHtGDGIs2A7_jQdSV_ZuYxTmGfs1W1

The 'need help searching' link on the search page has popup boxes to show you how to search (does anyone ever use that?), but it doesn't point out the tabs for annuals, TPBs and hardcovers, and it should, it would cut down on a lot of these requests.

It's under the 1st series listing (vol 1 1961-2012), although I agree it should be findable under it's own title, but isn't. Click the 'trade paperback' tab and it's the first one, here's its page:
https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/marvel/fantastic-four/1/sksroq

Generally there is no great 'value' to TPB's, they're cover price or less most times because they're reprints. And google is your friend. plenty of shops and that auction site to look up and see what it's sold for or what asking prices are. CPG has it for $15, and I saw only 2 sold auctions that concur with that estimate, and multiple others that didn't sell due to way high asking prices. (SOLD prices are far more important of course--too many crazy people on that auction site asking impossible prices for many things.) There's also a 'for sale/wanted' tab on the CPG listings to see what members here are selling stuff for, if there are any for a particular issue, and there isn't for this book.

there ya go, all the scoop you need, for free.

the pic you attached is of the guidebook, which is not a comic book and will probably not be listed here in the future is my guess. but who knows.

you listed no issue number and the pic doesn't show one, so not sure if that's a missing variant or what. The 1999 series comes up on search when you use ALL COUNTRIES: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/dark-angel/pixvn

again, use fewer keywords when you can't find something. it's under just Darth Vader, not sure why they don't have it as Star Wars Darth Vader though: https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/marvel/darth-vader/5/pkpriur

I see you submitted a variant cover too, from SDCC 2017 (not 2016) so guess you found the listing, so why list it here again? it's under review already, and you didn't specify here if it was the SDCC variant. you're not making things easy...

after some google searches, I found it's an Italian published comic, and is actually the Flash series #48 photo variant cover, but they also list it as the 'collection' Flash/Wonder Woman #30. weird. Still not listed here when searching all countries though, either under Flash or flash wonder woman or wonder woman, and RW LION as a publisher is not listed here either..

it's listed. there's a dropdown arrow for the search to narrow or expand things by country. if you choose Australia it comes up for the 1985-86 series: https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/k-g-murray-publishers-pty-lt/action-comics/8/shxylt

in my opinion the $6 price for NM 9.4 is ridiculously high. These are Aussie reprints, reprints are generally worthless. even the US first print for most any 1980s Action Comic is $1 or less in the real world, regardless what any guide says. too common.

it's under 'DC Science fiction graphic novel', don't ask me why. But they break DC graphic novels into 3 groups, if you search for DC graphic novel.

it's #5, and here: https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/dc/dc-science-fiction-graphic-novel/5/pbvrjx

wrong board for this, this is for listing auctions. use the General discussion board: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/forum8-general-comic-discussion.aspx

you'll need way more details that what you stated too. general age range, title runs/groups, more of the best issues, condition, etc.

actually doesn't seem to be listed for some reason. I tried searching under the publisher too, and doesn't show there either. If you want pricing info, there's a few sold ones on 'that' auction site, and you can go to these things called bookstores and find an Overstreet guide to look it up in, or ask someone here to look it up for you. (I don't have one.) Or google searches to see who's asking what for it.
https://www.comics.org/issue/316022/ lists it, but very little info.
