7/26/2023 Topic: Shops to Avoid? thunderize1	I have been fortunate to not have had a bad experience so far, but I have heard from other's that have had 1.I'm here in San Diego area. I know most of the shops and owners personally. They all have great stores and inventory.

I have am going back through my entire collection and making sure that the grades are correct Ruk. I do take this very seriously. How would you like me to send you a copy of say my driver's license or military ID for verification? As for the issues total currently sits at 32,079 but I add issues every week sometimes daily. As for the value it's at $216,110.00
7/28/2023 Topic: Image Comics thunderize1	The oversaturation print run is unbelievable. I have so many extra copies of early image books that I no longer compare possible grade upgrades to my collection. I just set it aside in the future dollar bin sales. I was even contemplating creating a short box with the entire runs of everything and putting them on the market.

7/29/2023 Topic: Ruk's list-Who has the best collection thunderize1	Just curious if you watch the top lists on avg to see where everyone is at on like a weekly schedule. also now that I am typing this on my laptop I can see my total on my phone which is what I should of done when asked to be apart of this distinguished list. $316,250.35 32,100 issues. also no your banter does not bother me. I spent over 11 years in the Marine corps and have thick skin so no worries.

To the art was jumping off the pages compared to the dot printing of the time. the books were made of a quality paper. I don't remember how many there are but not that many. One day I will put effort into finishing the run.
8/6/2023 Topic: Shops to Avoid? thunderize1	This is a good topic to post on. We are all collector's to some degree. These Lcs's depend upon us mostly for their benefit. We are the more likely to drop large amounts of money on a book(s) then other people. I know 1 shop here in San Diego let me put a book on lay away! I think that was a 9.0 ASM #8 and was like I wish. Just looking at it. And the owner was like I know you Dave you spend enough in here as well as help out every so often that we made a deal on it and 6 months later I got it.
