I've looked and looked and cannot find that issue. When you find it, please let me know so that I can add it to the site. What does the indicia inside the front cover say?

So I added this as Kentucky Fried Chicken Presents

https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/kentucky-fried-chicken-presents/pkpubs

I think this makes the most sense and makes it easy to find since the numbers are sequential. The first one says one-shot and then they changed their minds about doing another one. It's weird...no doubt.

You make a good point about the .25 cent price tag. I found several books over $50 but overall they are around that price. That book has been changed to reflect the current market value.

There is a grading guide on the site
https://comicspriceguide.com/comic-book-grading

Here's one from Heritage

Those should help

Hey Royal,
The market is fluid and constantly changing. We have all kinds of ways to gather data but sometimes there are blind spots. So we rely on members like you with a specific expertise to point us in the direction of things that need to be changed. You can contact me directly as so many people do at ron (at) comicspriceguide.com. I've separated my email to keep scrappers from using it. I adjusted Archie's Mad House #22 (first Sabrina). Send me more and I'll focus on adjustments for them as well

Market for Golden Age Westerns?

In general, you nailed it. Lower grades and readers don't get a lot of attention. Higher grades are still sought after. The audience for westerns overall is an aging population thus lower demand. If the tide turns and westerns become popular in movies again, these books could see the benefit.

Cool photo covers though

Comic does not come up when searched??

99% of the time they are in the database. It usually means there is a minor error with the search. Sometimes it helps to shorten the title or to make sure you're using the correct title. That isn't always on the cover! The first page usually has an indicia which says the correct name. That is what we base everything on.

Superman: The Man of Steel

That should get you started.

Come on now. You know that we have been working on improving the system, getting rid of bad sellers and communicating with the community about all this. Whenever you're dealing with people there will be issues. As you said, people have emergencies, sickness, holiday plans, etc. If you've dealt with them in the past and had success, give them a little patience. If they are a bad seller please email me and I'll research it.

Any tips on framing and displaying comics?

What I would suggest is googling UV comic book frames. Displaying your books is awesome and allows you to enjoy the cover art more but you need to protect the book against sun damage. ECC frames, bcw Supplies, etc.

Minor Site Update

Things might look a little different on the site starting today. We've made some changes that should help with speed because there are fewer layers. The second benefit will be most evident with different sized devices. The site is totally responsive so it changes depending on your screen size. You can actually play with this feature on a large screen by shrinking and expanding the window. Whether you're on your home computer, a laptop, an ipad or your phone the site should be easy to navigate. Some areas have new buttons that attempt to convey their purpose better.

This page looks a little different and if you delve into a specific title.

We are working on Spawn so thanks for noticing.

Some of the newsstand variants so rarely sell that we are having trouble finding sales information on them. If you see some newsstand variants lower than regular issues, that is the reason.

That was generous of your Dad to give you his collection. We don't usually give prices on signed books unless they are Dynamic Forces. It adds too many variables into the pricing for each book. We have over 1,000,000 books in various grades if you add signatures it expands exponentially.

George Perez signed book is worth more than the price listed in the guide. I would estimate that it's +$15 from the regular book.
