Never heard of the books before. Found an article on CBR from earlier this month talking about them. Seems like an interesting read. Couldn't find any info about them being turned into a movie or TV show, so I'm guessing people are just genuinely interested in the story. |

It's my understanding that Disney Adventures Nov 1994 is the first appearance in print. There are comics in the magazine, but it's still a magazine. That would make the Marvel comic the first comic book appearance. |
