If you look beside your user name on the site, not the forum, you will see a green 4 which means you have received credit for submissions that were approved. Submissions alone do not add to your total, only submissions that were approved. There might be reasons why a submission wasn't approved like two duplicate submissions - one would be approved and one would be deleted. (deletions don't count against you) Or bad scans, wrong information, changing the text out of all caps, etc.

You know from the several times we've spoken on the phone that we don't give a timeframe for submission approvals. There are a lot of things that rank above variant approvals like updating prices. Think about it from our perspective, if we don't approve a book limited to 200 issues we disappoint 1 or 2 members. If we don't update pricing we disappoint all of our members. Pricing has to be our number 1 priority. Currently, we have over 500 variants that need to be researched, priced and approved. I'm sorry that you aren't satisfied with the speed that things are approved but we are working every day.

According to my research, the third series wasn't titled Notti and Nyce, it was titled Notti & Nyce Menage A Trois (2017) You should put any from the third series in this title.

Most of what I collect is Golden age and that stuff keeps climbing regardless of what the price guides say.

Annihilation is ok, and you're right, Annihilus could be a nice focal antagonist, but he always felt a little wrong to me. Like a buggy Thanos. or like a buggy Ultron. no offense.

I guess I'm just biased.. I really, really want to see big ass cosmic story lines. I think the masses would be receptive to deep character build up movies (like FF, Nova, Beta Ray, New Avengers, Spider Woman, Illuminati etc.) and then culminate in origins of the universe/human kind (?Celestials (Eternals), Living Trib/Eternity (Doc Strange), Galactus (FF)?)

If you get an autographed verified for grading that different than getting a book personalized. The first seems like a way to increase the value of the book. The second is personal and not meant for an increased value.

That sucks about your Silvestri autograph. At least you got a story out of it.

Last week, I had a 7 day auction up for a high value key book. The starting bid was $49.99, which someone bid within the first day. It rose to $51, within another day, and that was it for the remaining days. On the last day, at the last hour, the item received about 9 bids with the last 20 seconds or so of the listing. It sold for $201.50. I was very happy with the final number, knowing that it could have seen much higher as well, but the clock stopped it. Total 15 bids.

So this is how auctions work many times, but also many times, you only get the minimum bid.

Do you have the 2018 Special Edition versions? They look just like the originals with a different UPC and the advertising is from 2018. I can't find anything out about them other than
I got them at Ollie's in a 10 pack but they had to be reprinted for some store exclusive because Ollie's other stores' overstock or discontinued items.
