Some more odd ones were published by Modern Publications. People confuse them with Charlton because they are best known for their Charlton reprints with the blue "Modern Comics" logo. They also published some Archie Comics.

This is taller than most treasuries, but it was sold only at Walt Disney Theme parks.

I ~think~ DC's unnumbered Rudolph Treasury predates it. Don't quote me on that. It's really a moot point unless you are trying to pinpoint the start of a trend. Some of the earliest comics were published in an oversized format.

I only have one but it's a modern. My old computer does not like photo bucket either Lol
I have an ad block plugin & an adaware script block plugin installed. I'm sure that making my experience more tolerable. I still see ads. |

Please tell me you still have the 3D glasses.
I'm pretty sure they are inside, but I don't remember.

Fantastic as always Robbie. Does that say 1968 on the cover? Great cover indeed.
I'd say so. That sounds right. They made one that is a regular comic size. If you are looking at images online, the price is less for the smaller version. edited by Defiant1 on 10/28/2017 |

I am only missing a handful from Marvel & DC. A friend was pursuing a full set by those companies and I bought all of his when he quit collecting. I filled in any missing stuff when I could.

This is the first Marvel & DC crossover predating the Spider-man/Superman crossover.

I'm sure anyone buying comics when this came out could not help but notice.

I would only go to see it for her, but she looks better with the character make-up than she does in the interviews for the movie. I like her personality. There is footage of her watching the trailer and afterwards she says "Who did the trailer? If you tell me, I'll french kiss you!" The stage crew all laughed.
I think dark CGI renders faster because it has a smaller color palette. It hides flaws, so you can't see how rushed it might've looked otherwise. When I see CGI done at night or when the whole screen is dark, I think "lazy cheapskates". |

I'll post more, but I didn't want to hog the thread since other have books they are rightfully proud of. If this shows, then I've been able to post it on www.tumblr.com and paste the image link here:

Hello - new to the website and was logging my collection. I have one book that I cannot seem to find, though.
Publisher: Archie Comics Year: 1995 Title: Hanna-Barbera Presents Atom Ant and Secret Squirrel Issue No: 1
Search for "Hanna-Barbera Presents" because that is the name for the series. The series featured different characters in every issue.
Either that or click this link. http://comicspriceguide.com/titles/hanna-barbera-presents/pnuwl |

There are more than those two, but I don't own any. The only ones I ever saw for sale had some serious condition issues and were lower grade than I'd want to own.
Just so everyone knows, they last few posted images were uploaded to tumble.com and I took the image links and posted them here. It appears to be working fine without all of the ads like you get at photobucket. |
