1/15/2026 Topic: Cover artist credits reminder collectibleshop	re this announcement post: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=20388#post47437 . "We have changed the text on the site from cover artist to cover penciler and are removing any inker or colorist from those areas." there's an ongoing problem with people still submitting inkers and colorists for cover penciler, mostly due to publishers listing cover credits without designating who did what. so I'm advising people that the cover penciler is the 1st name listed in the comic's cover artist credits, inker 2nd, colorist 3rd, unless 1 person did both of those. So just submit the 1st name for cover penciler and forget the others.There's only one cover penciler 99% of the time. edited by collectibleshop on 1/15/2026

1/24/2026 Topic: Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks (Dell $.15) collectibleshop	that's cuz the correct title is Four Color, #1196. look inside the comics for the publishing info, that will give you the correct title. and it's better if you post these in one post vs making single posts per issue Four Color, Dell and Classics Illustrated cause lots of these type posts, so don't feel bad. so always try using the publisher name and issue number alone and see if something comes up.
1/26/2026 Topic: Missing Book - Rob Zombie collectibleshop	Hi. This comic is not in the database in any format near as I can find. But first, CPG doesn't list signed comics except from Dynamic Forces and a few other exceptions. Only admins can add a missing comic like this as it's considered a one-shot. Helps people find things faster if you name the publisher, TidalWave Productions. And the title is just Orbit for the series, it's a series of biography comics, also done under Bluewater, Storm, and Stormfront. CPG lists the Orbits under Bluewater Productions. https://comicspriceguide.com/publishers/bluewater-productions . But comics.org, leagueofcomicgeeks, mycomicshop and others don't list the regular version of this one either, but they have other Orbits in the series. So most others missed this too. So I attached a pic of the regular version so they can add it at least. Other info: Written by Michael Frizell and illustrated by Victor Moura and Lucy Fidelis. Cover by Yonami. Published Jan 2025. ISBN-13: 9781965464915 . Amazon and Barnes & Noble list it for $7.99. So eventually an admin may add the regular version, so keep searching on just 'Orbit' and hopefully it'll come up some day. and by the way, your cover pic submissions aren't up to CPG standards. NO camera pics, not bagged, need cropping to the edges and square on. Click that icon, then click Continue in the popup box. That's IF it decides to work-- half the time lately it gives an error message, so you can't do anything till that works again. 1/26/2026 Topic: Searching for annuals collectibleshop	I agree, but did you read this announcement post from October? :https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=20388#post47437 "All Annuals are being moved into their own titles and labeled." The ComicType default choice of Issues will now include issues, annuals, specials, Giant-size and king-size. This means you now put the words "annual, special, Giant-size and king-size" in the title search field to find them. So using "Guardians of the Galaxy annual" will get you the whole list of those annuals. Why it doesn't still work the old way or why they still haven't removed the "annuals, specials, Giant-size and king-size" choices in the Comic Type menu is beyond me, maybe Ron can update us.
1/27/2026 Topic: Missing Book - Rob Zombie collectibleshop	I don't own a smart phone, so no idea how well the scan function works. you'll probably still need to crop the pics to the edges, there's free image editing sites you can use for that if you don't have an app thingy for that. but check for glare and getting straight pics. it's much easier and faster to go to the league and copy those pics, but you have to delete the old ones before you can submit new ones, unless yours get noped off before you get to it. you don't need to delete covers you uploaded to your OWN account, just the ones you submitted to CPG via the Missing Scan option. As I noted, go to the Verify Data page to remove those Harley Quinn/Elvira ones, if the trashcan icon works. edited by collectibleshop on 1/27/2026
1/27/2026 Topic: Not seeing missing variant submissions collectibleshop	is it the virgin cover? cuz the regular one is up. later that day...So I submitted the virgin cover, waited a couple hours, and it doesn't show to me at the bottom of the variants page either. last variant I submitted not too long ago showed and eventually got added, another sat for weeks till I bugged an admin. so bug #876. so feel free to contact Ron or bneeley and maybe they'll fix the problem. edited by collectibleshop on 1/27/2026

2/2/2026 Topic: Donald Duck #978 collectibleshop	after MUCH searching, it doesn't seem to be on here. But methinks the reason is the format of the book, and another 'tell' is that comics.org doesn't list it either. Online descriptions and pics note "Heavy linen-like cover stock. 16 page illustrated text story book....Text story with 1 large illustration per page." This may not be considered a proper "sequential art" comic book by CPG standards, more of a story book, and they don't list those cuz there'd be thousands more to add if they qualified. 2/12/2026 Topic: direct hits collectibleshop	and they only show the 10 most recent subs, in case you wonder after submitting a bunch. "Slight Misses" will fall off the list after a while, even if you fix the mistake, so don't worry about those unless you get a bunch close together.
