this one? https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/donald-duck-annual/1977/tkxskv
plenty for sale on the net and listed on some other databases, but I didn't find any that said what comics issues it reprints, but this etsy site showed the most interior pages with story names, so you could probably do net searches on the names and find the issues they were in. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1785856777/rare-vintage-1977-donald-duck-annual?show_sold_out_detail=1&ref=nla_listing_details

Guidelines for Uploading Cover Scans to CPG

I just uploaded a few covers at the 300 DPI & 350 x 535 pixel size like recommended. I noticed that when you click the thumbnail of my approved covers they are smaller than others when you click on them. Is there a new standard for pixel size to upload to? I just want to make sure I was doing correctly when scanning covers for the site.

that pixel size is out of date now, CPG has been inputting larger scans for a while. The newest ones seem to be 650x1000px, which seems larger than necessary to me, but my browser scales them down, or goes full size if clicked on again. I've been subbing 400x700, but looks like I should increase that. so ok for you to go higher, and they should update the very old guidelines 1st post.

CPG also has the wrong cover for https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/hellions/2-MAYHW/phpwmvx , that's the pre-production cover, so I subbed the correct cover. Michael, I replied to your post about the #7 cover, and that's in the wrong forum. I also subbed the correct cover for that, and there is one with the Marvel box too, they just assigned it to the wrong variant.

not sure why someone thumbs downed my reply? I see the problem now, it's that CPG doesn't have #322 under the regular 2025 Image title. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/gi-joe-a-real-american-hero/phwxmr , it has it separately (so not missing entirely), which appears to just be a mistake. Note to CPG: the indicia just calls it G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #322. the league has the covers if someone wants to submit them: https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/comic/5103320/gi-joe-a-real-american-hero-322

I've messaged a senior admin and a junior admin to see if they'll get these and a bunch of other corrections done, as some have hung around since August.

most of the ones in this thread still need it.
and https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/gi-joe-a-real-american-hero/phwxmr needs to be moved to the regular series, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/gi-joe-a-real-american-hero/phwxmr , and title should just be G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #322. reference thread: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=20461
The X-Men out-of-order volume is https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/x-men/pkyrmu
not sure if you have the 'juice' to do this one?: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=20460
these 2 still have US prices on them, but it's Aussie prices, and 1 is wrong on that too:

https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/bart-simpsons-treehouse-of-horror/4/yirsjw
Hulk #340 Mexican foil version is still sitting on the Variant approval list since 12-20. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/the-incredible-hulk/340/pjqqmw
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/amazing-spider-man-omnibus/rltxi hasn't had Vol 6 added yet, thread from 12-6 has links to get the pics, guess the OP didn't feel like subbing them: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=20437
from end of Nov post, this still needs to be moved from Dark Horse to Valiant: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/bloodshot-last-stand/piuyhx
probably more older stuff too, just paw thru the posts and see what else needs fixin', I gotta go do some errands now. thanks for the help, and recruit some other admins too.

guessing you can't edit subtitles to correct the artist names?
The Rocketfellers should have 'The' in the title, as stated in the indicia: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/rocketfellers/piqtjq

and on the Verify Data page Creators list, under Titan, Doctor Who the Prison Paradox #1G , there's no creators posted. The only one that was missing is the cover artist, which GCD and the league say is 'G Flops'. G Flops has now been added to the issue credits, so the verify data sub should be pulled.

thanks for the other fixes.

the actual guide listing was updated with the cover artist name as I mentioned, but the Verify Data page sub in Creators is still there, that's the one I was writing about. there's no entries to yup there. and you didn't say if you can correct the misspelled artist names in the subtitles? I pointed Pacino to this thread too.

did you mean #28? cuz that's 11,500 in 9.4, not #128. but $11,500 seems high for raw, as gocollect notes that CGC graded 9.2 is $8250, and several CGC 9.2 sales on another site are from $12,600 in 2023 (may have been signed, it's an outlier), to $6900-7800 in 2023-24. another price site says $4500 for 9.4 raw. not many high grade raws show up, since most would have them graded if they were 9.4s, so probably not many raw sales to go by. I'd guesstimate $8000-9,000 for raw 9.4, if the 9.2 raw value is somewhat accurate. But I'd sure have it graded if selling.

nope. constantly changing exchange rates make it too complicated to keep other currencies noted, although some AI program can probably take care of that.
as noted in another thread: "Ronbatman Administrator 11/27/2023
All values are listed in USD. I know that there are titles that have pence values or Australian values but our system is only in USD. Someday we might add other currencies but that isn't in the immediate future. There are much weightier issues to tackle before then.

We are also working on eliminating the comments field. We have started tagging things and making those tags searchable. This makes the cover artist, specifically the penciler, the key piece of information. We have changed the text on the site from cover artist to cover penciler and are removing any inker or colorist from those areas. These features are designed to make it easier to search and sort on the website.
All the best,
Ron

Just in case anyone sees this... there's an ongoing problem with people still submitting inkers and colorists for cover penciler, mostly due to publishers listing cover credits without designating who did what. so I'm advising people that the penciller is the 1st name listed inside the comic's cover credits, inker 2nd, colorist 3rd, unless 1 person did both of those last 2. So just submit the 1st name for cover penciler and forget the others for cover credit. There's only one cover penciler 99% of the time. Dunno if Bryan could add some note on the sub form to remind people to submit only the cover penciler name? probably not tho.
