according to comics.org there's 5 issues, but they only have pics of #2 and 4, and little data beyond Tony Walsh as cover artist, published/printed in Canada, and #4 was dated Fall 1996. you can list the creator info since you own 1, that saves CPG a bit of time. https://www.comics.org/series/50746/covers/
attached a pic of #1 from the league (it helps if you do that or paste a link to a better pic, as they can't use your camera pics).

I see the problem. can you post a pic of the indicia? it would only make sense for CPG to add these as variants to the regular titles tho, as most people will look them up that way vs checking the indicia and looking for What Not comics. an admin may come along and answer that. Collectible,
Some things will change with the comic type menu. The type called "Issues" will remain and now include annuals, specials, giant-size, and king-size. The types that are format differences will remain. So there will still be choices for soft cover, hard cover, trades, digest, and treasury size.

so pretty much the same as it is now? there's multiple more choices currently that should stay but figured you didn't want to list them all.

pics guidelines post, some of it is out of date, like the recommended size (they want bigger now): https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=5
I'll PM you some sites to get pics from, since some aren't allowed to be mentioned on here, but sometimes may be the only place that has them.

I agree that most people would search that way. That's how I would search. I usually go with what the indicia says on my listings, I did not do that with these. Do you think a picture of each is necessary or just one would suffice?

if they want them submitted as variants you'll need a CPG standards pic of each one. I posted the pic guidelines on your other post. I'd think What Not's site would have good pics, haven't been there, but dunno if they block copying. ebay may have pics that are CPG standards if you can't find them on the sites I sent you in the PM, but you need to know how to get the bigger pics to show and copy them and then they need converting from webp to .jpg, which you can do for free at https://ezgif.com/webp-to-jpg , no joining or downloading of anything required. you can also just paste the url of a webp image and paste it in the form on that site instead of copying and uploading it.

other sites to get pics from are the publishers sites, it they're not pre-production pics (and some sites never update them after publishing) and they're still in business. don't copy from mycomicshop, those are watermarked.
googleimages too, if necessary to find those hard to find ones.

I guess the best way to summarize it is to say, Issues will now include issues, annuals, specials, Giant-size and king-size. Everything else will remain the same.

so just to make this clear, you mean in the Title search field, when Issues is the Type choice, we can use annuals, specials, Giant-size and king-size in there instead of choosing them in the Issues drop down (which still includes them too) right?

Missing comic: Timeliners

Hi. looks like you have some very esoteric independent comics. But please gather them up and list them in one post, makes for less clicks and clutter. you can add them to your 1st post and change the title to 'Missing comics', and copy and paste the others in there, or add each one as a reply post. there's an edit button at the bottom of the message pane. then you can delete the others.
And if you haven't, do google searches on them too, there might be more useful info for CPG to use.
I found the author's site for this one, but no blog posts since 2017, and I didn't go to any of his social media pages. There is a second issue, plus other titles, likely self-published, so fair chance CPG won't bother to add them (no one else has apparently), but maybe. http://bruceohughes.com/comics-page
pics need to be scans, not camera pics, square on, cropped to the edges of the comic, for CPG to use them.
so the more work you do, the better chance they'll add them, but it may take a while.

attached a CPG standards pic for them to use, or you can save it and submit yourself as a Missing Variant, which is how they prefer it to be done.
Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books/
Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-stranger-things/1/piptmvv
Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
You should see a link with a little flag called "Report Missing Variant" on the right side under those tabs
Clicking the link will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, an image, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.
Same goes for missing issues if they have the title listed, that link is at the bottom of the right column on the series listing.
Have fun...

that cover pic isn't going to be accepted, so attached a better one I hope is accurate enough. seems the few I found all use the same pic, so assume it's the publisher's. and is it 'Ponie' or 'Ponies' in the indicia? hate it when the cover is different than the indicia....

any way to input a spreadsheet/csv file?

collectibleshop
collectibleshop
Hi. Yes, this has been asked about for years. short answer is no, there's no process for bulk uploads or downloads. longer answer from 2019:
Ronbatman Administrator 12/8/2019
The short answer is no you cannot upload an Excel spreadsheet. There are things with Excel that don't work well with our system.
Things you can do to speed things up:
1. When you go to a title like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles/yitu
You can quickly add with the the green button on the side.
2. If you have a lot of a certain issue you can add a run. Go to the same title and look further right in the toolbox. At the lower part of that box is add a run. When you click on that you can add hundreds of issues at a time.
I hope that helps a little. Plus now you will know the value of your collection.
Ron

another answer was that anyone's spreadsheet would have to match CPG's database program so all the issue info gets put in the right place, and they're not gonna give anyone access to that code as it's a security risk. so you'll just have to do it the slow way, as Ron described, sorry.

Classics Illustrated by Berkley First Publishing

they're under just First as publisher, then just Classics Illustrated. Classics is often a pain to find, so a couple 'tricks' are to search for just Classics Illustrated only, then scroll the multiple titles (First's comes up 3rd), or use just the story title (without edgar allen poe part), or story name and/or the issue number as part of the title, with nothing in the issue number field. all depends on the publisher apparently.
First's list is here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated/uopr . House of Usher is #14.
there's many posts about finding the various series, then there's Classic Comics too. this thread may help explain why: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=17354

credits for back cover artist?

Does CPG accept/want back cover artists for cover credits? Like on https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fear-agent/24/wnrslp ? 2 people have subbed Skottie Young for cover artist, but he only did the back. I told one person he should remove it, before I found an indicia scan that said skottie did the back cover. maybe add a 'back cover penciler' choice, for all the flip books etc, so the subs don't noped?

Announcement: Cover artist credits have changed

Posting this here so more eyeballs see it so there's less new creator credit subs to remove or get noped. CPG has changed things for cover artist listings, so cover inkers and colorists aren't noted for cover artists any more, so you can stop submitting those for cover credits. See this post, bottom paragraph: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=20388
I've messaged a few members about this so they can delete their subs, but they're not reading their messages yet apparently.

So being more specific about what's different would help. So from the pics on abebooks and Jay's, it looks like the softcover has a silver band on the bottom and the hardcover doesn't, so that would make CPG's pic wrong, as Jay stated. and that CPG is missing the hardcover listing. I got that right?

Thor Cover Pic

CPG has the pre-production pic, an e**y search shows that. Unfortunately nearly everyone else uses it too, and no one seems to have a usable pic of the correct cover. And I google-imaged search and hit a bunch of store sites etc too. Foil covers are a pain. GCD has the right cover, but too dark and blurred, I couldn't tweak it to look at all decent. any chance you have a scanner and could attach a pic here? a real good camera pic could work too, but hard to get good ones due to reflection. no one on e**y seems to be able to take a good pic either.
any members here that can get a decent scan or clear/straight camera pic? CPG doesn't usually accept camera pics, but may be necessary in this case.

agreed on those Batman covers, dunno how they got approved. not sure if either of the admins noted as contributors did the scans, but the pics are worthless.
and in some cases a camera pic is the only way to get a usable pic, but no one seems to know how to use their $1000 phone or digital camera to take a square-on pic with no glare and then get it cropped to the edges of the comic, despite all the free online image editing sites. and there are all kinds of camera pics on here that got approved by members, some are good, some aren't. But I agree they should be allowed when you can't get a good scan due to the cover material. too bad the publishers don't update their site pics after the production version comes out. Maybe if all the database sites asked them too, some might do it, but it's another expense for them.

I don't find them either. GCD has Deadpool under Pan-Universal Galactic Worldwide, but not Zombies, but the league has both. Deadpool would go here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/deadpool-circle-chase/1/pkrscs
Marvel Zombies goes here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/marvel-zombies/1/ulssou

GCD has these Pan Universal 3d issues with pics, I didn't check if CPG does, spent too much time on the other 2:
